CLASS A NORTH
No. 9 Freehold Township 15, Marlboro 4
Junior attackman Brendan Doel recorded four goals and two assists to reach 100 career points and lead the Patriots (4-4, 2-3) past the Mustangs (1-4, 1-3).
Jake Liebross added three goals and two assists while Matt Kondrup and Kyle Von Nessen each scored twice. Nick Elimanco had one goal and one assist and Matt Madonna, Ryan Tanner and John Vitale scored one goal apiece. Aidan Purcell made five saves.
Matt Weber led Marlboro with two goals and one assist and Brayden Deleany made 10 saves. Finn Leahy and Jonathan Alverzo each scored once and Vincent Aquillino had two assists.
CLASS B NORTH
No. 5 Rumson-Fair Haven 15, No. 7 St. John Vianney 3
Luke Devlin scored a career-high six goals and Ryan Croddick made 11 saves as the Bulldogs (4-6, 2-1) delivered an emphatic 15-3 win over the Lancers (5-4, 2-2).
Sam Mannino, Thomas Russo and Jack Whitelaw each scored twice while Patrick Jamin had a goal and two assists and Kiel Forlenza scored once.
Anthony Brett, Andrew Gosse and Kyle Harris each scored once for St. John Vianney.
Holmdel 6, Red Bank 5
Justin Cohen tallied two goals and one assist and Nick Tuccillo mad 16 saves to help the Hornets (6-3, 3-2) hold off a late rally by the Bucs (5-4, 0-2).
Holmdel led 6-3 heading into the fourth quarter.
Kyle Kapcsos added one goal and two assists and Ryan Bradley, Aidan Lagana and David Burke had one goal apiece. Dan Tempone won 10 of 15 face-offs and picked up eight ground balls.
Brady Gilmartin had a goal and two assists and Matt Gibson made 13 saves to lead Red Bank. Tor Haugenes, Ryan McGee and Nick Walsack each finished with one goal and one assist and A.J. Abarno scored once.
CLASS B SOUTH
Barnegat 12, Mater Dei Prep 3
John Porcelli sank four goals and added one assist and Tim Lauterbach also scored four times to lead the Bengals (2-7, 1-3) to a victory over the Seraphs (1-6. 0-5).
Tyler Quinn also registered five points on a goal and four assists while Tristan Porcelli scored twice and Mark Belvett scored once. Bryan Snowden had two assists and Brian Corliss made six saves.
NONCONFERENCE
No. 6 Middletown South 15, Steinert 3
Connor Ard had a monster game with a career-high nine goals and one assist to lead the Eagles (8-1) to a win over the Spartans. Matt Tardy also had a big game with five goals and two assists while Carter Lenhard scored once. Oscar Cruz needed to make only one save in goal to earn the win.
Lacey 10, Mainland 7
Dylan Vitale and Chris Augustine each tallied three goals and one assist to lead the Lions (6-0) past the Mustangs. Mile Long and Dominic Waltonowski each added two goals and one assist and Ryan Giles had three assists. Gustavo Baxes made five saves.
