Christian Bocklmann recorded a hat trick and Ryan Croddick made 14 saves to lead the way for the Bulldogs (1-3) in their loss to the Blue Devils. Rowan Goldin scored twice, Thomas Russo and William Sullivan had one goal each and Patrick Jamin had two assists. Kenny Swain went 12-for-19 on face-offs.

The game was tied 6-6 at halftime before Westfield scored twice in the third quarter to take an 8-7 lead into the fourth. The Blue Devils scored all four goals over the final 12 minutes.
