The Mariners erupted for 16 hits and 13 runs to down the surging Rams and win the OCT for the second consecutive year and fifth time overall. Catcher Justin Schaff led the offensive outburst with an RBI single in the first, an RBI triple in the third and another RBI single in the seventh.

Winning pitcher Jared Bellissimo helped his cause by going 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI, while his courtesy runner - sophomore Jon Giordano - scored four runs.
