Working with baserunners on for most of Tuesday's game against Red Bank Catholic, Manasquan left-hander Tommy Sheehan made key pitch after key pitch to keep the Caseys at bay during his five innings of work.

In the end, it was a big swing that proved to be the difference.

Sheehan rocked a tie-breaking, bases-clearing, three-run double in the top of the fifth and battled through five innings on the mound to help lead the Warriors to a 5-2 win over Red Bank Catholic, the No. 6 team in the Shore Sports Network Top 10.

Sheehan allowed two runs - one earned - over his five innings of work against a Red Bank Catholic team that entered the game averaging 10.3 runs per game. The Notre Dame signee allowed five hits, walked five and struck out five and threw 105 pitches before turning the ball over to sophomore right-hander James Harmstead.

Making just his second varsity appearance on the mound, Harmstead earned his second save - both of which came in games started by Sheehan. Harmstead allowed one hit in his two scoreless frames and struck out three without issuing a walk.

Harmstead also went 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI at the plate and junior Ricky Flynn was 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Warriors.

After Manasquan took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, RBC pulled even with two in the third, with senior Anthony DeRosa smacking an RBI double to tie the game. Senior Aaron Ahn also finished 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base for the Caseys.

Junior right-hander Blaise Panzini took the loss for RBC, allowing five runs - three earned - on seven hits with one walk and three strikeouts. Panzini tossed 79 pitches in 5 1/3 innings.
