(2) Long Branch 31, (7) Hamilton West 0

Senior running back Dahmiere Willis turned in his seventh game of at least 200 yards rushing this season and became the first 2,000-yard rusher in Long Branch history by erupting for 295 yards and four touchdowns on 32 carries to lead the Green Wave (7-2) past the Hornets (3-6) and into the semifinals, where they will host third-seeded Carteret.

Willis now has 2,112 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns with at least two games left to play. The Shore Conference single-season rushing record is 2,544 set by Pinelands' Matt McLain in 2010.

Senior kicker Vinny Mota added a 23-yard field goal in the win for Long Branch, which beat Carteret 31-6 earlier this season and is looking for its first trip to a sectional final since 2007. Linebacker Brandon Lane added an interception and defensive back Dave Colbert had two picks to give him a Shore Conference-leading six interceptions for the season.
