hawks release 2014 schedule
Monmouth University’s head football coach Kevin Callahan has announced the team’s 2014 schedule, the Hawks’ first season as a member of the Big South Conference.

Season Ending Loss
The Monmouth University (6-6) football team fell to Duquesne (7-4) on Senior Day at Monmouth Stadium, 33-23 on Saturday afternoon.
Last Away Game for the Seniors
This past Saturday we traveled to Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island to take on the Bulldogs. It was the senior’s last away road trip, so we wanted to make it one to remember.

Monmouth University (6-5) withstood a late charge by Bryant University (4-7) to come away with a 21-18 victory on Saturday afternoon.

This past Saturday we took on the Wagner Seahawks on their Senior Day game.
Monmouth dominates, 23-6
Monmouth University (5-5) football scored two touchdowns on their first five plays while the defense turned in a dominating effort en route to a 23-6 victory over Wagner (2-8) on Saturday.
New Challenges, New Conference for MU This Year
Coming out of the bye week we wanted to keep the momentum going that we gained from our Homecoming win against Cornell. We had another great challenge last Saturday playing against Sacred Heart University. The game didn't go the way we had hoped and we came up short losing in a close battle, 24-21.
