One of the compelling stories at this week’s NJSIAA Wrestling Championships in Atlantic City will be BJ Clagon’s attempt to win a second straight championship and join Jeff Parker as the only two-time state champs in Toms River South history.

Clagon is a four-time district champion and three-time region king who was a state 2nd place finisher in 2011 before claiming the 138 pound weight class a junior.

Heading to Rider University in the fall his path to wrestling stardom was not an easy one.
