Each week, Shore Sports Network selects the top players in each Shore Conference girls soccer division and gives the Shore Conference fans a chance to vote for their pick as the overall Thrive Player of the Week.

Below are the Players of the Week from each of the six Shore Conference divisions, as well as two wild cards to push the list of nominees to eight players. Vote for the top performer on the poll at the bottom of the post and come back every hour to vote again. The poll closes Thursday at 10 p.m. and the winner will receive a shirt and a free training session, courtesy of Thrive.

Shore Sports Network Players of the Week

Class A North

Kasey Resker SR. Manalapan - Resker has played an important part of the Manalapan defense all season and in the most important game of the season to date, she stepped up and helped shutout No.1 Freehold Township. She communicated and helped keep the backline organized throughout the game. 

Class A Central

Aubrey Scoble JR. Rumson-Fair Haven - Scoble had her best week offensively for Rumson, scoring four goals, two of which were game-winners and two of them equalizers. Against Holmdel, she scored the equalizer on a beautiful shot that went far post past a diving goalkeeper. In the upset win against No. 6 Wall, she scored the equalizer in the final minute of regulation and then the game-winner with six seconds left on the clock in the second overtime. To end the week, Scoble scored the game-winner in the second half against Holmdel in a 1-0 win. 

Class A South

Alexis Garcia SR. Toms River North - Garcia scored four goals and had one assist last week for Toms River North. Against Pinelands, she scored two goals and assisted on a third goal to help the Mariners clinch first place in Shore Conference Tournament Group 2.  Earlier in the week, she scored two goals against division rival Brick Township. 

Class B North

Kendall Livingston JR. Freehold Boro - Livingston helped Freehold Boro win two games last week, including a shutout. Against Ocean. she only gave up one goal, but made double-digit saves to keep the Colonials in the game. She followed that with a shutout against St. Rose where she made several saves, with the biggest coming on a one-on-one breakaway.

Class B Central

Gabby Kirchner JR. Point Beach - Kirchner has been causing problems for opposing defenses all season and last week was no exception. She finished the week with four goals and four assists for Point Beach as they won the Class B Central title. In a division matchup against Ranney, she scored a goal and assisted on the other in a 2-0 win. Kirchner ended the week scoring two goals and assisting another goal all in the first half against Manchester in a 3-2 victory. 

Class B South

Lynsey McGovern SO. Lacey - Lacey had to replace its whole backline and McGovern has stepped into the starting role as an anchor of a defense that has only conceded one goal during the team's nine-game win streak. Last week, she helped Lacey hang on to a 1-0 win against Donovan Catholic in a non-conference game. 

Wild Cards

Izzy Mellili JR. Red Bank Catholic - Mellili had a great game anchoring the backline against Wall’s attack. She kept the defense organized and communicated all over the field in a game that ended in a 0-0 draw. Melilli followed that by helping the Caseys shutout Raritan two days later to clinch the Class A Central title.

Rylie Rampone SR. Manasquan - Rampone can do it on both sides of the field. Last week, she scored 3 goals and had two assists in two division games. In a must win for Manasquan against Colts Neck, Rampone scored a goal and assisted two others in the 4-1 victory. The win clinched Manasquan a tie for first place in Class B North with Trinity Hall.
