No. 16 Toms River East 2, No. 14 Central Regional 0 (25-20, 25-11)

The Raiders (8-6) took a crucial victory over the Golden Eagles (7-6) to find themselves at two games over .500 heading into the home stretch for Shore Conference Tournament seedings. Ava Casales gave the team a huge stretch over the two sets, posting 17 assists and 3 digs on the day. Adrianna Cruz added 15 digs in the victory.

Toms River South 2, Brick Township 1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-22)

The Indians (6-7) find themselves only one game below .500, being one of many teams trying to find themselves above water to dance in the SCT. Jordyn Lynch led South with 16 assists and 12 service points while Sofia D'arcangelo found herself with 20 digs. Marissa Witter led the Dragons (3-9) with 20 assists as she collected 9 digs in the loss.

Toms River North 2, No. 8 Brick Memorial 1 (25-18, 16-25, 25-13)

A huge win on the road for the Mariners (4-5) cultivated, as TRN took down the No. 8 team in the shore in three sets. Isabella McKelvey led a stellar performance for the Mustangs (9-3), leading with 18 assists and adding 9 digs, 7 service points and 2 kills in the tough defeat.

Jackson Memorial 0, No. 1 Southern 2 (25-10, 25-10)

Class B-South

Lakewood 1, Lacey 2 (24-26, 25-20, 25-11)

It took a come-from-behind effort for Lacey (4-8) to take home the match as Shayla Haemmerle led all with a team-high 22 digs. Nicolina Saccomanno had a strong day for Lacey, making way with 14 assists and 10 service points. Emily Hauptvogel led all with 13 kills while adding 11 digs and 11 service points.

No. 12 Pinelands 2, Manchester Township 0 (25-18, 25-19)

Nicole Tarnacki gave the Wildcats (11-5) the boost they needed to soar passed Manchester (2-8) in two sets. Tarnacki had 12 digs and 6 kills, leading way to their fifth straight win.

No. 6 Barnegat 0, No. 2 Donovan Catholic 2 (25-17, 25-21)

Elizabeth Kavanaugh and Daniella Tischio each tallied 11 assists while Shantel Starling had 14 kills in the two-set victory over Barnegat (12-3.) Macayla Lindner added 9 digs and 4 kills for the Griffins (17-1.) The Griffins have clinched at-worst a share of the Class B-South division with the victory.

Non-Divisional

No. 5 Middletown South 0, No. 10 Jackson Liberty 2 (25-23, 29-27)

One of the best matches unfolded between two of the top 10 teams in the Shore Conference. In a thrilling two-set affair, Steph Ramos led all with 31 digs for the Lions (9-3.) Stella Harzold added 21 digs and 12 kills while Olivia Luhn had a game-high 26 assists. Jackson Liberty brought a halt to the five-game winning streak the Eagles (9-3) had coming into the match.

Asbury Park 0, Freehold Borough 2 (25-4, 25-9)

The Colonials (6-9) moved one step in the right direction for hopes at a SCT bid, defeating Asbury Park (0-8) in back-to-back sets. In the commanding win for Boro, Sayuri Penaranda led with 10 service points, 9 aces and 3 assists.

No. 15 Keyport 2, Long Branch 0 (25-14, 25-22)

Keyport (8-4) travelled on the road and took down Long Branch (0-10) in back-to-back sets. The Red Raiders were down 16-5 in the second set before going on a 20-9 run to close out the victory.
