The Mustangs (12-8) dominated the first set and had to claw to find themselves with a two-set victory over Long Branch (0-21). Cece Marino continued her strong 2023 with a team-high 13 assists in the victory. Isabella Pitarresi had a strong day on serve, leading all with 11 service points and adding 3 aces for the Mustangs.

Lacey 1, Wall 2 (21-25, 25-17, 25-22)

Wall (6-13) was able to pick up a win over Lacey (10-12) in three sets, tuning up for state playoffs. Ava Grant led the way for Wall, picking up a team-high 21 assists while also providing 6 digs. Gemma Ferris was able to lead all with 10 kills in the win.

Manasquan 0, Colts Neck 2 (25-16, 25-19)

The Cougars (10-11) got into double-digit win totals, continuing the course before looking to defend their title in Central Jersey Group III. Gianna Savino had an offensive barrage on the court, leading the Cougars with 22 assists and picking up 6 service points in the win. Kendra Thor contributed with a strong day, leading all with 12 kills and finding herself with 7 digs.

No. 13 Point Pleasant Beach 1, No. 8 Brick Memorial 2 (25-22, 21-25, 29-27)

As both the Garnet Gulls (13-11) and the Mustangs (15-7) get ready to embark on their quests to win a sectional title, the two had a tune-up game in which the match went three sets. As the Mustangs needed a third to prevail, Delaney Croman had a huge game with 17 service points, 9 digs and 5 kills in the win. Chaeli McDonald added a strong performance for the Mustangs with 15 assists to lead the way for the Mustangs.
