Shore Conference Tournament Opening Round
(19) Keyport 0, (14) Central 2 (25-6, 25-13)
It was a record-breaking day for Central's (11-7) Kate O'Blek, who broke the school record in assists with 20 in the two-set victory. O'Blek now has 338 assists on the season and 526 in her career. The Golden Eagles will play No. 3 St. John Vianney in the round of 16 tomorrow.
(18) St. Rose 1, (15) Point Beach 2 (25-16, 23-25, 25-20)
It was a strong start for the 15-seeded Garnet Gulls (13-7) who were able to avenge an earlier loss to the Purple Roses (9-9) with a two-set win in the first round of the SCT. Jordyn Kearney had a memorable game for Point Beach, leading all with 12 digs. Molly Huvane came in with a mission, coming away with 19 assists during the win.
(17) Toms River North 1, (16) Rumson-Fair Haven 2 (16-25, 26-24, 25-16)
The Bulldogs (10-8) worked and combined all together for 86 digs over a three-set thriller over the Mariners (7-8). Catherine Caulfield had a huge tournament game with a team-high 25 assists while adding 8 digs in the victory. The Bulldogs will go on the road and play No. 1 Southern tomorrow in the round of 16.

Atlantic Tech 0, No. 5 Barnegat 2 (25-17, 25-19)
The Bengals (17-3) continued to stay tuned up leading up to the Shore Conference Tournament with a two-set victory over Atlantic Tech (11-9). Annabella Fraim had a huge game with 20 assists, 10 service points and 7 aces in the victory. Barnegat's Ashley Berger led all with 10 kills.
Egg Harbor 0, No. 12 Pinelands 2 (25-20, 25-18)
Jill Becker and Nicole Tarnacki each had 7 kills in Pinelands (13-9) two-set victory over Egg Harbor (7-12). Tarnacki also led the team in digs with 7.
Lakewood 0, Holmdel 2 (25-11, 28-26)
Paul VI 1, No. 1 Southern 2 (21-25, 27-25, 25-22)
The Rams (22-2) took their talents up against another top threat in the state in Paul Vi (16-3) and handled business in a wild three-sets. Molly Regulski led all with 25 assists while Jordyn Hamlin had 16 service points and 9 digs in the win.
