Class B-Central

Manasquan 0, No. 13 Point Pleasant Beach 2 (25-17, 25-23)

The Garnet Gulls (12-7) finished off their season within the B-Central strong with a two-set victory over the Warriors (7-10). Molly Huvane led the way for the Garnet Gulls with a team-high 12 assists while Sophia Santoro had a game-high 10 digs. Giuliana Ferraro's 15 digs kept Manasquan within striking distance, but wasn't enough to overcome.

Non-Divisional

Freehold Borough 0, Brick Township 2 (25-17, 25-21)

Marissa Witter had another huge day for the Dragons (4-14), leading the way with a team-high 18 assists in the two-set victory over the Colonials (8-11). Isabella Marinelli had a game-high 13 digs in in victory.

Lakewood 2, Asbury Park 0 (25-18, 25-15)

It was another day for Lakewood's (5-13) Nathalie Arguedas who led the way with a team-high 18 digs in the two-set victory for the Piners. Ashley Ruiz was right behind her with 13 digs in the win.

No. 4 Howell 2, No. 12 Pinelands 1 (25-19, 20-25, 27-25)

In a battle between two top-ten seeds for the SCT, this was a strong tune-up game in preparation for what both teams hope is a long run come late October. The Rebels (16-2) picked up another huge win that boosts the reputable season they've already had. Pinelands (12-9) Olivia Shertenlieb added to her season totals with a team-high 26 assists in the loss.

Toms River South 0, Colts Neck 2 (25-23, 25-17)

Stacy Mancino (16) and Kendra Thor (14) combined for 30 of the Cougars (9-11) 51 sets in the two-set victory over the Indians (8-12). Gianna Savino also had a strong game for the Cougars, leading all with 22 assists.

Manchester Township 2, Long Branch 0 (25-16, 25-21)

St. Rose 2, Holmdel 0 (28-26, 25-19)

The Purple Roses (9-8) were able to climb above .500, taking down Holmdel (5-14) in consecutive sets. Freshman Ali Lubach had another monumental game for the program of St. Rose, leading all with 29 assists in the win.

Red Bank Regional 2, Jackson Memorial 1 (21-25, 25-18, 25-21)

The Buccaneers (6-10) were able to battle from a set down to come from behind and pick up their sixth win of the season. Kylie Fisher had a huge game over the course of three sets, leading the way with 22 assists in the victory. Ava Zucosky contributed in a strong way for Red Bank with 10 kills in the victory.

Non-Conference

Princeton 2, No. 1 Southern 1 (21-25, 25-21, 25-18)

Molly Regulski's 31 assists were not enough for the Rams (21-2) to overcome Princeton (23-1) as two of the top teams in the state faced each other in a non-conference matchup. Jordyn Hamlin led the way for Southern with 13 kills and 10 digs in the loss.
