Class A-North

No. 5 Middletown South 2, Freehold Borough 0 (25-22, 25-17)

Another strong day came from Coach Thorne's group as the Eagles (9-2) won their fifth straight matchup. Sayuri Penaranda had 12 assists in the loss for the Colonials (5-9). Midd. South will travel on the road to take on No. 10 Jackson Liberty tomorrow. (More to come.)

No. 13 Marlboro 0, Colts Neck 2 (25-19, 30-28)

It was another strong step in the right direction for the Cougars (6-7), who continued to play with fire on the court. Ally Zillinski led the team with 14 assists while Gianna Savino was right behind her with 13. Kendra Thor led all with 13 kills.

Long Branch 1, Middletown North 2 (27-25, 19-25, 25-20)

The Lions (2-9) were able to take a matchup at home against the Green Wave (0-9), battling it out over a three-set thriller. Julia Jensen led Middletown North with six kills on the day.

Class A-South

Toms River East 2, Jackson Memorial 0 (25-14, 25-20)

Class B-North

Holmdel 2, No. 9 Raritan 1 (18-25, 25-23, 26-24)

Wall 0, No. 11 Rumson-Fair Haven 2 (25-21, 25-19)

Rumson (8-4) continued to stay on track to get a strong seed in the Shore Conference Tournament, winning their eighth victory out of their last nine attempts. Catherine Caulfield had 13 assists and 3 digs while Cayla Kuo had a huge game with 13 digs.

No. 3 St. John Vianney 2, No. 7 Red Bank Catholic 0 (25-20, 25-19)

The lead for the B-North continued to expand for the Lancers (12-4) who took down the Caseys in straight sets. The win moves Vianney a full 2 1/2 games ahead with four to play in the division. Ayana Warren had a barrage of assists, leading all with 27.

Class B-Central

No. 15 Keyport 2, Manasquan 1 (20-25, 25-16, 25-15)

Asbury Park (0-6) at St. Rose (4-7), 3:45pm

Point Pleasant Beach 2, Trinity Hall 0

Non-Divisional

No. 4 Howell 0, No. 1 Southern Regional 2 (25-14, 25-16)

The Rams (15-1) took on another challenge before their marquee matchup next week and took down the Rebels (10-2) in back-to-back sets. Molly Regulski had another massive game for Southern, leading with 22 assists. Jessica Smart made huge contributions, posting 14 kills in the affair.

Non-Conference 

No. 6 Barnegat 2, Middle Township 0 (25-17, 25-12)

The Bengals (12-2) had no problem taking on Middle Township (1-11) and winning in two sets. Annabella Fraim once again was dominant on the court, leading all with 15 assists and 7 service points in the win. The Bengals will take on No. 2 Donovan Catholic tomorrow.
