9-Colts Neck 2, 8-Red Bank Regional 1 

12-Brick Township 0, 5-Brick Memorial 2 (25-15, 25-8)

13-Jackson Memorial 0, 4-Northern Burlington 2 (25-20, 25-19)

Madison Weil was the x-factor for Northern Burlington (13-11) in the two set win over Jackson Memorial (3-20). Weil had a huge game with 20 assists to lead her team to victory.

11-West Windsor-Plainsboro North 0, 6-Middletown South 2 (25-23, 25-19)

The huge season from Karolyna Bojko continued on for the Eagles (14-6) as Middletown South took down West Windsor-Plainsboro North in two sets. Bojko led the way with 24 assists while adding 7 digs in the win. Regan Murphy had 11 kills while Shannon Crosby had 11 digs to lead both categories for the Eagles.

10-Lakewood 0, 7-Burlington Township 2 (25-23, 25-9)

Madeleine Beris and Joelle Abdullah combined for 28 assists for a two-set victory over Lakewood (8-15), moving Burlington Township (14-7) into the CJG3 quarterfinals.

NJSIAA Tournament, First Round, Central Jersey, Group 4

11-Bridgewater-Raritan 2, 6-Marlboro 0 (25-16, 25-15)

Irene Papanastasiou was the deciding factor in the two-set win for Bridgewater-Raritan (10-15), having a team-high 14 assists while adding 6 digs. Emily Evaristo led all with 14 digs in the win.

NJSIAA Tournament, First Round, South Jersey, Group 2

Manchester 1, Cinnaminson 2 (20-25, 25-15, 25-17)

NJSIAA Tournament, First Round, South Jersey, Group 3

10-Pennsauken 0, 7-Lacey 2 (25-22, 25-19)

Lacey (11-12) won at home against Pennsauken (12-12) in straight sets to move onto the SJG3 quarterfinals. Shayla Haemmerle led the way for Lacey with 13 digs and 10 service points, five of which were aces. Lacey will go onto face No. 2 Pinelands next week.

9-Toms River South 2, 8-Shawnee 0 (26-24, 25-22)

15-Ocean City 0, 2-Pinelands 2 (25-13, 25-20)

The Wildcats (16-10) picked up their 16th win of 2023 and advanced into the SJG3 quarterfinals, defeating Ocean City in straight sets. Olivia Shertenlieb had a team-high 15 assists in the victory for Pinelands. The Wildcats will host Lacey next week in the SJG3 quarterfinals.

12-Cherry Hill West 0, 5-Toms River East 2 (25-14, 25-21)

Ava Casales led the way for the Raiders (11-10), providing the team with a game-high 18 assists in the two-set victory over Cherry Hill West (8-14). Adrianna Cruz and Darlyn Neyra combined for 27 digs for the Raiders in the win.

NJSIAA Tournament, First Round, South Jersey, Group 4

9-Cherokee 2, 8-Howell 0 (25-17, 25-14) 

The Chiefs (12-8) were all too much for the Rebels (17-4) to handle over two sets, moving on into the SJG4 quarterfinals. Keira Mullen led Howell with 7 kills as Savannah Torres had 7 assists in the loss. Howell ends the season with 17 wins and will come into 2024 as the defending A North champions.

13-Central Regional 0, 4-Cherry Hill East 2 (25-16, 25-20)

The strong season of the Golden Eagles (12-9) came to a conclusion as Cherry Hill East (20-5) bested Central over consecutive sets. Kate O’Blek closed out her strong 2023 with 16 assists in the loss.

16-Toms River North 0, 1-Southern 2 (25-15, 25-12)

Senior Molly Regulski is three assists away from 600 on the year after putting up 21 more in the two-set victory for the Rams (27-2) over the Mariners (8-9). Southern will face Cherokee in the SJG4 quarterfinals next week.
