Class A-South

Toms River South 2, Jackson Memorial 0 (25-17, 25-15)

The Indians had three catapults in their offensive dominance over two sets against Jackson Memorial. Giana Denino came away with 13 service points, Sofia D'arcangelo had 11 digs while Jordyn Lynch piled on 18 assists. Ava Csatari had 5 assists for Jackson Memorial.

No. 12 Brick Memorial 2, No. 11 Central Regional 1

The Mustangs moved to 4-2 on the year, thanks to another stellar performance by Isabella McKelvey. McKelvey had 25 assists throughout three sets while having 8 service points. Emily Fitzgerald piled along 13 kills, 12 digs and 5 blocks for Brick Memorial. Isabella Cotrell added 15 digs as well.

No. 1 Southern 2, Toms River East 0 (25-21, 25-20)

The Rams earned their 10th consecutive victory to continue their dominance throughout the Fall, winning over the Pirates in back-to-back sets. Ava Casales had 10 assists for the Pirates in the loss.

Class B-South

No. 2 Donovan Catholic 2, Manchester Township 0 (25-10, 25-6)

The Griffins remain unbeaten in 2023 with a dominating two-set victory over Manchester. Daniella Tischio garnered 12 assists for the Griffins while Macayla Lindner had 9 kills and Shantel Starling had 11. Elizabeth Kavanugh had 9 assists for the Griffins in an all-around team performance.

No. 14 Jackson Liberty 0, No. 6 Barnegat 2 (25-17, 25-12)

Brooke DeGrazio had 12 digs while Annabella Fraim piled on 10 assists and 8 service points in the two-set victory for the Bengals. Steph Ramos earned her 500th career dig in the loss.

Lacey 1, No. 10 Pinelands 2 (25-22, 26-28, 25-21)

Olivia Shertenlieb continued her dominating year for the Wildcats with 24 assists, 7 service points and 5 digs in the three-set victory. Jill Becker, Alana Fontanes, Jayla Kline and Nicole Tarnacki all had 10+ assists with Tarnacki having 15.

Non-Divisional

No. 16 Point Pleasant Beach 1, Lakewood 2 (25-15. 23-25, 25-19)

Nathalie Arguedas and Wendy Vega each had 20 digs for Lakewood while Jackie Conde had 15 and 7 service points in a three-set victory over the Garnet Gulls. Sarah Pratt had a team-high 16 assists for Lakewood.

Non-Conference

No. 3 St. John Vianney 2, Colonia 0 (25-12, 25-17)

The Lady Lancers took a road trip to Colonia and had zero problem against the GMC rival in straight sets. Ayana Warren stayed strong, leading the Lancers with 18 assists. Gia Sergi had 10 digs in the victory.
