Toms River North 1, Toms River East 2 (18-25, 25-18, 25-19)

Ava Casales had a day to remember for the Raiders in the three-set victory, putting up 24 assists, 6 digs and 6 kills. Darlyn Neyra added to the stat-line for East with 21 digs and 13 kills. Adrianna Cruz and Valerie Marroquin were both in double-digit totals in assists for the Raiders.

Jackson Memorial 1, No. 12 Brick Memorial 2 (25-19, 21-25, 25-18)

Isabella McKelvey posted another season high in assists with 26 in the three-set victory over Jackson Memorial. Isabella Cottrell led the Mustangs with 19 service points while Delaney Cromen had 10 kills and 6 digs.

Class B-South

No. 6 Barnegat 2, Lacey 0 (25-15, 25-19)

Lakewood 0, No. 14 Jackson Liberty 2 (25-10, 25-11)

Olivia Luhn posted 22 assists for the Lions as Jackson Liberty moved to 5-2 on the season. Steph Ramos added 20 digs and 14 service points while Stella Harzola had 16 digs with 11 kills in the victory. Nathalie Arguedas, Maricarmen Hernandez and Wendy Vega all had double-digits in digs in the loss.

No. 10 Pinelands 0, No. 2 Donovan Catholic 2 (25-13, 25-11)

The Griffins moved their unbeaten streak to 10 as Donovan Catholic took down Pinelands in straight sets. Shantel Starling led the Griffins with 11 kills while Elizabeth Kavanaugh added 10 assists. Donovan Catholic will face No. 5 and unbeaten Howell tomorrow.

Devyn Quigley had a huge game for the Hawks in the two-set victory, putting together 8 aces, 7 digs, 7 kills, 2 blocks and an assist. Samantha Villanueva added 5 digs for the Hawks in the victory.

Colts Neck 1, Rumson-Fair Haven 2 (25-20, 21-25, 25-17)

Rumson-Fair Haven climbed over .500 for the first time in 2023 with a huge three-set victory over Colts Neck.

Trinity Hall 0, No. 3 St. John Vianney 2 (25-15, 25-11)

Freshman Ayana Warren continued her massive '23 campaign with 27 assists and 7 digs in the two-set victory. Giavanna Sergi had 17 digs while Stephanie Buttons had 10 kills and 9 digs for the Lancers.
