The Player of the Week fan vote winner for Week 2 is Southern Regional senior goalie Tristan Farina, who made 33 saves and allowed just three goals in two games as the Rams continued to roll with a pair of convincing victories.

Farina was outstanding in an impressive 16-3 win for Southern over Freehold Township when he made 21 saves. He followed that performance with a 12-save effort in the Rams' 9-1 win over Oakcrest. In eight games this season Farina has a .762 save percentage with 109 total saves to help Southern to a 6-2 record and the No. 3 spot in the Shore Sports Network Top 10. 

Farina won a close contest with 31.86 percent of the vote. Middletown South senior midfielder Pete Lawson was second and Wall junior Mike McIntyre was third. Lawson scored eight goals and added two assists in two games while McIntyre had nine goals and one assist in two games.
