Shore Conference, NJ Ice Hockey Three Stars for Monday, Feb. 15
In an homage to a National Hockey League tradition dating back to the 1936-1937 season, Shore Sports Network will be selecting three standouts from each day of Shore Conference ice hockey. The Three Stars of the Day will be posted each morning for the previous day's games.
First Star
Jaxon Hook, Jr., Fwd., Wall
Hook played a part in all three of the Crimson Knights’ goals in a 3-2 victory over St. Rose, assisting on goals by Daniel Burns and Patrick DeMarinis and scoring the eventual game-winning goal late in the second period.
Second Star
Ryan Fortunato, So., Forward, Toms River East
Fortunato scored twice to lead the Raiders to a 4-3 win over Ocean.
Third Star
Lucas Holland, So., Goalie, Lacey
Lacey lost 4-1 to Red Bank but Holland was outstanding with 52 saves to keep the Lions in the game despite being heavily outshot.
