Class A North

No. 2 CBA 15, Middletown North 3

Senior attackman Brendan Donnelly scored four goals and senior attackman Nick Blalock tallied three goals and one assist to lead the way in the Colts' (7-2, 6-0) victory over the Lions (4-4, 2-3).

Senior midfielder Ian Macrae added a goal and three assists, senior midfielder Christian D'Alterio scored twice, and senior midfielder Liam Schwartz contributed a goal and two assists. Jack Santos, Davis Campbell, Christian Petruzelli, and Aayush Dave had one goal each and LSM Quinn Kelly had two assists.

 

No. 8 Middletown South 17, Marlboro 1

Logan Bailin delivered four goals and one assist while Steve Kirschner and Kevin Dunphy each totaled three goals and one assist as the Eagles (7-1, 5-1) rolled to a victory over the Mustangs (0-9, 0-6).

Beau Servidio added two goals and two assists, Joe Sarci scored twice, Mike Provini had a goal and an assist, James Pirozzi scored once, and Nick Wisnewski dished out three assists. Ryan Dunphy picked up a team-high seven ground balls. Lucas Campos (2 saves), Sean Burns (2 saves), and Matt Mason (1 save) shared time in goal.

DJ Silvia made 11 saves and Andrew Silvia scored once for Marlboro.

 

Howell 7, Freehold Township 5

Senior attackmen Nate Lorenzo and Jack Marich and junior midfielder Ian McDow each scored twice as the Rebels (4-5, 2-3) edged the rival Patriots (4-3, 2-3).

Lorenzo added one assist and Nicholas Turturro had three assists to tie for a team-high three points. Jon Peal Pepe scored once and Brendan Breschard made five saves.

Class A South

Brick Memorial 5, Toms River North 4 (OT)

Freshman LSM/midfielder Trey Tallmadge scored the game-winning goal off an assist from freshman attackman Nick Correia as the Mustangs (3-6, 2-3) earned a dramatic win over the Mariners (2-6, 2-3).

Tallmadge scored twice and picked up a team-high 10 ground balls while Correia had three assists. Freshman attackman Jack D'Eufemia also scored twice and freshman attackman Noan Gambaroney scored once. Sophomore goalie Matt Hillin made 15 saves and senior FOGO Christian Valanzola won 12 of 14 at the face-off X.

 

Toms River East 15, Central 3

Senior attackman Maxson Huttemann poured in five goals and four assists to lead the Raiders (6-1, 4-1) past the Golden Eagles (2-7, 0-5).

Senior midfielder Luke Barber tallied four goals and two assists and freshman attackman/midfielder Nicholas Caruso totaled three goals and two assists to set program freshman records for goals (17), assists (14), and points (31) in a season. Nate Cummings added two goals and two assists and Patrick Hinkson scored once.

Jahazial Garcia scored twice and Grant Paczkowski scored once for Central.

 

Toms River South 8, Brick 3

Brady Dermone scored three goals and added one assist to lead the Indians (2-7, 2-3) past the Dragons (3-8, 1-4) in a night game at Detwiler Stadium.

Dennis Forbes and Ben Hartzfeld each posted two goals and one assist, Nolen Mahoney scored once, and Nicholas Romaine had two assists. Nicholas Mueller made three saves.

 

Class B North

No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 16, No. 6 Shore 5

Senior attackman/midfielder Cole Cashion sank three goals and assisted on three more, freshman Luke Lydon had three goals and one assist, and senior midfielder Zach Iwan also scored three times to power the Bulldogs (7-3, 4-0) to a decisive victory over the Blue Devils (6-2, 5-1).

Andy Croddick scored twice, defenseman Beau Kemler had a goal and an assist, Leo Passalaqua also had a goal and an assist, and Luke Marascio won 12 of 19 face-offs. Grayson Goldin, Troy Monte, and Brody Page had one goal apiece. In goal, Will Setteducate (10 saves) and Marshall Halfacre (3 saves) shared time.

Junior midfielder Sam Madalone scored twice and Noah Karaban made 14 saves for Shore. Brady Cooke, Braden Miller, and Lucas White each scored once and Ben Levy had two assists.

 

No. 7 Red Bank 16, Long Branch 0

Henry Spencer's three goals and four assists led the way for the Bucs (8-1, 3-1) as they cruised to a victory over the Green Wave (0-10, 0-5).

Jack Tavares scored twice and Andrew Pape and Gabe Pape each had a goal and an assist. Kevin Ruland, Trey Lynch, Luke Nelson, Andrew Savko, Finn Tierney, Peter Barrecca, Jack Berkeley, Will Ogden, and Chris Lahey each scored once. Michael Eisenbraun made three saves

 

Red Bank Catholic 16, St. John Vianney 4

Junior attackman Peter Villare scored four goals with three assists and senior midfielder Torin Harmon totaled three goals and four assists to lead the Caseys (5-4, 3-1) past the Lancers (4-6, 0-4).

Sam Fertal tallied three goals and three assists, Frank Tackett sank three goals and added two assists, and Jackson Lu had two goals and three assists. Leo Cosimaon scored once and Nick Cosimano picked up a game-high 14 ground balls. Christian Schrader (8 saves) and Gianvito Viola (2 saves) each spent time in goal.

Max Menkowitz won 18 of 23 face-offs and had a goal and an assist to lead St. John Vianney. Brendan Allen, Ian Butler, and William Keegan each scored once and Jacob Volk (10 saves) and Jack Lupo (9 saves) shared time in goal.

Barnegat 4, No. 10 Point Boro 3

Senior goalie Lucas Holland made 15 saves while a group of five freshmen and sophomores provided the scoring as the Bengals (8-2, 4-1) knocked off the Panthers (6-2, 3-2) for a big divisional victory.

A goal in the fourth quarter by freshman Keegan Dunn off an assist from sophomore Jakob Jason snapped a three-all tie and served as the eventual game-winning goal. Jason and Dunn had a goal and an assist each, sophomores Bailey Carroll and Jason McHale each scored once, and sophomore Luke Tortorici had two assists.

Brian Orio, Robert Trapanese, and Spencer Knapp scored for Point Boro and Colin Cole made 12 saves.

 

Donovan Catholic 11, Lacey 10

Freshman midfielder Emanuel Gerena scored five goals and added two assists to lead the Griffins (6-3, 2-3) over the Lions (5-6, 1-4).

Jack Farlekas had two goals and one assist, Teague Hibbard scored twice, Sonny Vanesko had a goal and an assist, and Alex Sles scored once. Andrew Baltus had two assists and Dom Rocco Ciniglio made six saves.

 

Nondivisional

Ocean 14, Neptune 1

Senior midfielder Ryan Kelly notched three goals and one assist and freshman goalie River Pinto made eight saves in his first career start to help the Spartans (2-8, 1-4) pick up a win over the Scarlet Fliers (

Vincent Stolowski had two goals and one assist while Ben Girard and Connor Holevinski had a goal and two assists each. Jack Varley and Matthew Mosey each scored twice, Mickey McGovern had a goal and an assist, and Omar Aly and Ryan Smyth had one goal apiece.
