American Division

Rumson-Fair Haven 17, Shore 6

Sophomore attackman Luke Lydon scored a career-high seven goals and added two assists as the Bulldogs (7-0, 4-0) remained unbeaten with a dominant victory over the Blue Devils (3-2, 2-2).

Senior Matthew Casazza added two goals and two assists, senior midfielder Andy Croddick tallied two goals and one assist, and senior midfielder Leo Passalaqua had a goal and two assists. Senior attackman Alastair Orr recorded a goal and an assist and senior FOGO Luke Marascio won 22 of 26 at the X. Senior Griffin Kolb and junior Britt Lumsden added one goal apiece and freshman goalie Seamus Gorman made eight saves.

Rumson led 7-3 at halftime and 12-4 heading to the fourth quarter.

Junior midfielder Tucker Malfa scored three goals to lead Shore. Junior Lukas Villa had a goal and two assists, Sophomore Reid Spallone had a goal and an assist and senior Carson Spallone scored once. Senior goalie Noah Karaban made six saves.

 

Manasquan 15, Holmdel 3

Junior attackman Ryan Aldi notched three goals and one assist and junior attackman Brandon Kunz netted a goal and three assists to help power the Warriors (6-0, 4-0) to a decisive victory over the Hornets (5-2, 1-2) to remain undefeated.

Manasquan jumped out to a commanding 7-1 lead after the first quarter and stretched its advantage to 10-2 at halftime and 15-2 after three quarters. Seniors Nick Carabetta and Joe Carabetta each had two goals and one assist and junior midfielder Matt Schneider scored twice. Senior midfielder Brody Muly, sophomore midfielders Lucas Longo and Jack O'Reilly, senior Cole Schwartz, and junior LSM Parker Harms each scored once. Senior goalie Nick Bounassi got the start and made six saves while junior Pat Loxley made three saves and junior Cooper Daly made four saves.

Senior midfielder Gary Collyer, senior LSM Matt Tempone, and sophomore attackman Finn Buchan scored once each for Holmdel. Junior FOGO Jack Powers won 12 of 21 draws while sophomore Jack Tiller made five saves playing the first half and senior Casey Dowd made five saves in the second half.

Colonial Division

Manalapan 12, Howell 3

Senior midfielder Marc Stefanelli tallied five goals and two assists to eclipse the 100-point milestone and led the Braves (4-1, 3-0) past the Rebels (2-4, 0-4).

Senior attackman Anthony Macchio added four goals and one assist and junior attackman Matt Avivi sank three goals with one assist. Senior Michael Bonner dished out two assists and sophomore goalie Connor Doel made four saves.

The Braves are tied atop the Colonial Division standings with unbeaten Toms River East (6-0, 3-0)

Senior attackman Jon Peal Pepe, junior midfielder Nick Turturro, and sophomore midfielder Cole Reinsdorf each scored once, and junior goalie Adam Baker made 12 saves for Howell.

 

Red Bank Catholic 10, Jackson Memorial 9

Senior attackmen Peter Villare and Jackson Lu and sophomore midfielder Frank Tackett all recorded four points and senior goalie Gianvito Viola made 14 saves as the Caseys (5-3, 3-1) held off the Jaguars (4-3, 2-2) for a key divisional victory.

RBC led 5-3 at halftime and 8-4 heading to the fourth quarter. Tackett and Lu each recorded three goals and one assist and Villare totaled two goals and two assists. Freshman midfielder Joe Egan added a goal and two assists, junior attackman Leo Cosimano scored once, and senior FOGO Brian Vecchio won 13 of 20 face-offs. Senior defenseman Connor Harms picked up a team-high 12 ground balls and senior defenseman Logan Graham collected 11 ground balls.

 

Point Boro 12, Barnegat 5

Junior attackman Brady Kirk scored four goals and five assists to hit multiple milestones and lead the Panthers (4-2, 1-2) to a divisional victory over the Bengals (3-4, 0-4).

Kirk scored his 100th career goal and tallied his 200th career point, and in the process became the program's all-time leader in points by surpassing the previous mark of 193 set by his older brother Aidan in 2022. Brady Kirk now has 202 career points on 103 goals and 99 assists.

Senior midfielder Greyson Ritter added two goals and one assist and seniors midfielder Gavin Reid and Robert Trapanese each scored twice. Senior goalie Colin Cole made eight saves and seniors Matt Woit and Logan Letts had one goal apiece.

 

Toms River East 7, Middletown South 6 (OT)

Junior midfielder Nate Cummings sank the game-winning goal in overtime as the Raiders (6-0, 3-0) completed a thrilling comeback win over the Eagles (2-2, 2-1) to remain unbeaten and tied atop the Colonial Division.

Toms River East trailed 4-0 after the first quarter before rallying with two goals each in the final three quarters to force overtime. The defense limited Middletown South to only one goal each in the third and fourth quarters. Cummings scored a game-high four goals and freshman attackman Gerard Uzzolino recorded a hat trick to supply all the offense for the Raiders. Sophomore attackman Nicholas Caruso had three assists and freshman goalie Ryan Caruso had another strong game between the pipes.

Senior attackman Logan Bailin and senior defenseman Will Nugent each scored twice and junior midfielder Kenny Rodriguez won 14 of 18 face-offs to lead Middletown South. Senior defenseman Owen Richter added two assists and 11 ground balls.

 

Constitution Division

Middletown North 15, Marlboro 1

Senior Hayden Mattos delivered five goals and one assist and senior Tim Cherney set a program single-game record with six assists as the Lions (5-0, 4-0) continued the best start in program history with a thorough win over the Mustangs (2-5, 1-3).

Cherney also scored once while freshman Noah Fleming tallied three goals and one assist, junior Graham Kennedy had two goals and one assist, and freshman Christian Balletto scored twice. Seniors Gavin Eremus and Michael Kelly each scored once and junior goalie Mario Lorenson made 11 saves.

Junior midfielder Braden Dupey scored Marlboro's lone goal and junior midfielder AJ Muhlbach collected a team-high 10 ground balls.

 

Ocean 18, Neptune 0

Senior midfielder Ben Girard registered three goals and three assists and junior attackman Vincent Stolowski recorded a hat trick when the Spartans (5-3, 4-0) rolled to a victory over the Scarlet Fliers (1-4, 1-3).

Ocean had 18 different players record points and 13 different players score goals. John Rainford scored twice for his first varsity goals, senior midfielder Nick Iacouzzi had a goal and three assists, senior Tommy Iacouzzi scored his first varsity goal plus two assists, and sophomore pole Mickey McGovern had a goal and an assist. Scoring once each were: sophomore attackman James Knight, senior defenseman Willie Canavan, sophomore attackman Ryan Smyth, senior midfielder Christian Revolinsky, senior Manny Raigosa with his first varsity goal, junior Griffin Richard, and senior Carmen Salvatore, who also scored his first varsity goal. Stephen Falco added two assists for his first varsity points.

 

Colts Neck 16, St. John Vianney 10

Senior Luke Petino recorded a career-high seven points on three goals and four assists and Jayden Moline scored a career-high five goals and added one assist to help send the Cougars (3-3, 3-1) past the Lancers (3-4, 1-3) to remain in second place in the division.

Colts Neck is one game behind division leaders Middletown North (5-0, 4-0) and Ocean (5-3, 4-0). Senior goalie Aaron. Nasimov made 14 saves while junior Tyler Bowden delivered two goals and one assist, senior Brent DeThomasis and Ethan Sloane each scored twice, and senior Luke Ferraro had a goal and three assists. Senior Tyler Roth added a goal and two assists and senior Tesio Carabello dished out two assists.

For Saint John Vianney, junior Brendan Allen scored four times and sophomore midfielder Max Menkowitz continued his outstanding season by scoring two goals, assisting on another, and winning 26 of 30 at the X to bring his season percentage to 81 percent. Senior William Keegan also recorded two goals and one assist while senior Colin Bradley had a goal and three assists, senior Khush Mehta had a goal and an assist, and sophomore goalie Cameron Esposito made 17 saves.

 

Freehold Township 13, Long Branch 0

Sophomore Andrew Dalton tallied two goals and two assists and junior Ryan Rutt scored his first two varsity goals to lead a balanced scoring attack in the Patriots' (4-3, 2-2) victory over the Green Wave (0-6, 0-4).

Senior attackman Nolan Thompson added a goal and two assists while senior midfiedler Nick Carnevale, junior midfielder Ryan Rowolt, junior Patrick Wicke, junior Ryan Marchant, junior defenseman Braeden Larkin, senior defenseman Landon Szymanski, junior Chris Chinnici, and sophomore Jason Maietta each scored once. Marchant's, Szymanski's, and Maietta's goals were the first of their varsity careers. Sophomore Josh Lubin made four saves in goal to earn the win.

 

 

Freedom Division

Jackson Liberty 11, Brick 2

Freshman Jeff White and senior Joshua Friedman each scored a career-high five goals and senior Paul Capozzi delivered a career-high eight assists to send the undefeated Lions (5-0, 4-0) to a victory over the Dragons (3-3, 2-2).

Senior Bobby Balatico scored his first varsity goal, senior Peter LaBianca picked up a game-high 14 ground balls, and senior goalie Matthew LaBianca made 11 saves.

 

Lacey 14, Toms River North 5

Junior attackman Corey Smith scored five goals and added two assists and sophomore attackman Ryan Gleason tallied three goals and three assists to guide the Lions (3-5, 2-2) to a victory over the Mariners (1-4, 1-3).

Sophomore attackman Braedyn Gialanella supplied three goals and two assists and sophomore midfielder Jonathan Price totaled two goals, two assist, and 10 ground balls. Junior midfielder Connor Simonson scored once, junior goalie Nicholas Vetter made 12 saves, and junior LSM Derek Hurley snagged a game-high 11 ground balls and assisted on a goal. Sophomore midfielder Alex Barneman chipped in with two assists.

Junior midfielder Cooper Lachowitz had two goals and two assists and sophomore goalie James Mauti made 11 saves for Toms River North.

 

Brick Memorial 8, Central 5

Sophomore attackman Nick Correia tallied two goals and two assists as the Mustangs (3-4, 3-0) thwarted an upset bid by the Golden Eagles (2-4, 0-3) to remain tied for first place in the Freedom Division.

Jackson Liberty (5-0, 4-0) and Donovan Catholic (3-2, 3-0) are also undefeated within the division.

Junior attacman Austin Edwards and sophomore attackman Jack Deufemia each had two goals and one assist and sophomore attackman Noah Gambroney scored twice. Junior goalie Matt Hillin made seven saves.

Senior midfielder Matt Golizio had a hat trick and junior goalie Brady Etzkorn made 20 saves for Central, which briefly led, 4-3, in the second half. Sophomore attackman Jake Agugliaro recorded a goal and three assists and senior attackman Grant Paczkowski scored once.

 

Toms River South 12, St. Rose 1
