Class B North

Red Bank Catholic 17, Long Branch 0

Peter Villare tallied five goals and three assists and Leo Cosimano delivered three goals and three assists to lead the Caseys (1-1, 1-0) past the Green Wave (0-2, 0-2).

Torin Harmon had two goals and one assist while Marcello Brocato, Sam Fertal, and Jackson Lu each scored twice. Brian Vecchio had a goal and an assist and went 15-for-15 on face-offs and goalies Christian Schraeder and Gianvito Viola each made two saves.

 

Nonconference

Southern 9, Notre Dame. 7

Sophomore Liam Griffin notched a hat trick and senior Hayden Lucas totaled two goals and two assists as the Rams (2-0) outlasted the Irish (0-2).

Anthony Arch and Ty Murawski added two goals each and AJ Mattern (9 saves) and Nick Roesch (5 saves) split time in goal.

 

Holmdel 9, Old Bridge 6

Senior attackman Kyle Kapcsos set a program record with his 128th goal and junior midfielder Will Gilfillan recorded his 100th career point to help steer the Hornets (2-0) past the Knights (0-2).

 

Lacey 11, Absegami 0

Corey Smith and Braedyn Gialanella both recorded three goals and two assists and Chad Moore made 21 saves to power the Lions (2-1) to a shutout victory over the Braves (0-3).

Diego Wolf scored twice, Evan Keller had a goal and two assists, and Zach Brewer also had a multi-point game with a goal and an assist. David Wilson chipped in with one goal.
