Wall 17, Red Bank 7

Senior attackman/midfielder Shea Brennan tallied thre goals and four assists, senior attackman Jack Meyer sank four goals, and junior face-off midfielder Michael Hoarle went 25-for-26 at the X and scored a goal to power the Crimson Knights (1-0, 1-0) to a season-opening win over the Bucs (1-1, 0-1).

Sophomore attackman Wyatt Capro added three goals and three assists, junior attackman Jackson Lemongelli scored three goals, senior midfielder Will Madden had two goals and one assist, and sophomore midfielder Patrick Frued scored once. Senior goalie Lucas Seelinger made six saves.

Wall led 4-3 after the first quarter when Hoarle won a face-off and scored unassisted with four seconds on the clock. Red Bank had tied the score six seconds earlier on a goal by senior Andrew Pape. The Crimson Knights outscored Red Bank 5-1 in the second quarter to open a 9-4 halftime lead and pushed their advantage to 13-6 heading to the fourth quarter.

Andrew Pape had a hat trick plus one assist and Kyle Borenius made 11 saves to lead Red Bank. Gabe Pape, Jack Tavares, and Finn Tierney each scored once and Justin Valentino had two assists.
