Toms River South 16, St. Rose 2

Sophomore attackman Ben Hartzfeld scored eight goals and added two assists to tie a pair of single-game records and lead the Indians (4-11) to a victory over the Purple Roses (2-10).

Hartzfeld's eight goals and 10 points tied the program single-game records set by junior attackman Brady Derome on April 15.

Junior Dennis Forbes added two goals and one assist while senior Cal Narvaez and junior Nicholas Romaine each scored twice. Derome and junior Ryan Silva had one goal apiece, freshman Steve Lindemann won 17 of 21 face-offs and assisted on a goal, and sophomore goalie Nicholas Mueller made two saves.

 

Lacey 12, Brick Memorial 4

 

Marlboro 5, Ocean 4

Senior midfielder/attackman Noah Gothelf sank two goals and added one assist and senior goalie DJ Silvia made 13 saves as the Mustangs (2-14) edged the Spartans (3-15).

Sophomore midfielder Andrew Silvia had a goal and an assist and won 13 of 17 face-offs while senior attackman Ethan Donner and sophomore attackman/midfielder Shayne Gallo each scored once. Sophomore defenseman Tyler Gellis picked up 10 ground balls and senior defenseman Aiden Dubinski had an assist plus six ground balls.

Freshman defenseman/midfielder Mickey McGovern, junior defenseman/LSM Willie Canavan, junior midfielder/attackman Christian Revolinsky, and freshman attackman/midfielder Ryan Smyth had one goal each, and freshman goalie River Pinto made 12 saves for Ocean.

 

Point Boro 15, Toms River East 10

Junior midfielder Greyson Ritter scored a career-high five goals and added an assist for a career-high six points to help lead the Panthers (11-4) to a big Ocean County road win over the Raiders (8-4).

Junior attackman Spencer Knapp sank three goals and sent out two assists and sophomore attackman Brady Kirk scored three times, senior FOGO Tommy Morris won 17 of 27 face-offs, and junior goalie Colin Cole made 12 saves. Junior Logan Letts tallied two goals and one assist, senior attackman Brian Ostrander had a goal and two assists, and junior midfielder Robert Trapanese scored once.

Senior midfielder Luke Barber scored six goals, assisted on another, and won 10 of 17 face-offs to lead Toms River East. Freshman attackman Nicholas Caruso scored twice, senior attackman Maxson Hutteman had a goal and an assist, junior attackman Patrick Hinkson scored once, and senior goalie Lester Cook made three saves.

Barnegat 16, Middle Township 0

Freshman Keegan Dunn scored a career-high five goals and added two assists and sophomore midfielder Luke Tortorici delivered two goals and five assists to send the Bengals (12-4) to a blowout win over the Panthers (7-8).

Senior attackman/midfielder Seith Freiwald, sophomore attackman Jakob Jason, and sophomore midfielder Bailey Carroll each registered two goals and one assist while senior midfielder Robert Sawicki scored twice. Sophomore attackman Jason McHale scored once, sophomore FOGO Antonio Frusco won 12 of 17 face-offs, and senior goalie Lucas Holland made six saves to record the shutout.
