Sophomore attackman Nick Correia netted four goals and two assists and junior goalie Matt Hillin made 14 saves as the Mustangs (4-4, 4-0) ran past the Lions (3-6, 2-3) to keep pace top the Freedom Division.
Junior attackman Austin Edwards provided three goals and two assists, sophomore midfielder Shane Trautweiler had two goals and one assist, and junior FOGO Frank Taylor won 17 of 22 face-offs. Senior midfielder Connor Dietz scored his first varsity goal and added an assist, sophomore attackman Jack Deufemia also had a goal and an assist, and sophomore attackman Noah Gambroney scored once.
Junior attackman Corey Smith tallied three goals and one assist and sophomore attackman Braedyn Gialanella recorded two goals and one assist for Lacey. Sophomore attackman Ryan Gleason and sophomore midfielder Jonathan Price each scored once, junior LSM Derek Hurley picked up a game-high 13 ground balls, and junior goalie Nicholas Vetter made six saves.
