Senior attackman Drew Barocas scored five goals and assisted on another, senior midfielder Elias Craig totaled four goals and two assists, and senior midfielder Zach O'Connell went 19-for-21 at the face-off X to power the Jaguars past the Patriots.
Junior midfielder David Walter posted two goals and three assists while sophomore attackman Joey Muzzillo and junior midfielder Brenden Albiter each scored once. Sophomore LSM Elijah Coffman dished out two assists and picked up a team-high seven ground balls. Senior goalie Russell Cender made 10 saves to backstop the victory.
Junior attackman Brendan Carfagno scored three times and senior attackman Nolan Thompson had two goals and one assist to lead Freehold Township. Senior attackman Nick Carnevale and junior midfielder Ryan Rowolt each had a goal and an assist and junior midfielder Nate Reiser had two assists.

Senior midfielder Ben Girard sank four goals and added one assist to power the Spartans to a home victory over the Mustangs. Senior defenseman Matthew Mosey had a goal and an assist and sophomore midfielder James Knight and senior midfielder Nick Iacouzzi each scored once. Sophomore Mickey McGovern dished out two assists.

Senior midfielder Brody Muly scored four goals, including the game-winning tally in the fourth quarter, and senior goalie Nick Bounassi stood tall with 20 saves to lift the Warriors to a road victory over the Vikings in a battle of teams ranked in the state top 20 to start the season.
Manasquan is ranked No. 11 and Eastern No. 15 by NJ.com. Junior attackman Brandon Kunz notched a hat trick as he and Muly, both of whom are committed to Lehigh University, delivered seven of Manasquan's 10 goals. Senior attackman Nick Carabetta scored twice and junior attackman Ryan Aldi scored once.

Sophomore attackman Jake Agugliaro notched a hat trick, senior midfielder Matt Golizio scored twice, and junior goalie Brady Etzkorn made 15 saves to lead the Golden Eagles to a season-opening win over the Blue Devils. Sophomore Addison Lewis and junior midfielder Colin Gall added one goal apiece.
Holmdel 16, East Brunswick 4
Senior midfielder Will Gilfillan was unstoppable with five goals and four assists and junior Jack Powers won 17 of 23 face-offs as the Hornets opened a 12-2 halftime lead and rolled to a victory over the Bears.
Junior attackman Brian Volpe added two goals and one assist while sophomore midfielder Jack Cannon and senior LSM Matt Tempone had one goal and two assists each. Sophomore attackman Finn Buchan and senior midfielder Greg Linsalata each registered a goal and an assist. Senior goalie Casey Dowd made two saves to earn the win.
