No. 14 Freehold Boro 68, Toms River East 62

Juniors Brian Tassey and Qua'Mir Everett each scored 17 points and the Colonials overcame a 28-point effort by Toms River senior Jason McKelvey to top the Raiders (10-14). Tassey also dished out five assists and blocked four shots.

Monday, Feb. 19

No. 14 Freehold Boro 80, No. 11 Donovan Catholic 55

Junior Aidan Hamlin-Woolfolk scored 14 points to go with seven rebounds and classmate Brian Tassey put up 13 points and nine assists to lead the Colonials (19-7) to a rout of the Griffins.

Sophomore Kai Pritchard led Donovan Catholic with 11 points

Ranney 48, No. 15 Shore 43

Sophomore Shaan Nayar scored 18 points and freshman Brody Mauro added 13 as the Panthers (12-12) fought past the Blue Devils (17-8) to get back to .500.

Senior Alex George led Shore with 15 points.

No. 6 Toms River North 70, St. Thomas Aquinas 65

Senior Micah Ford scored 21 points and classmate Owen Baker poured in 16 to help lead the Mariners (19-7) to a road win over the Trojans -- the runner-up in the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament.

Tuesday, Feb. 20

No. 16 Colts Neck 52, No. 11 Donovan Catholic 39

Juniors Lukas Sloane and Bryce Belcher led a balanced effort that paced the Cougars (16-8) to a win over the Griffins (18-8).

Sloane scored a game-high 17 points and Belcher added 11 to lead Colts Neck, while freshman Amare Walker paced Donovan Catholic with 15.
