I have noticed in recent years more and more organized student sections at high school football games throughout the Shore Conference. What used to be a couple of dozen has now turned into a couple of hundred and these groups have given themselves colorful names and use Twitter to organize and promote their efforts.

The student groups often dress up (or down), display signage, use special cheers and generally act as a “12th man” for their school. Good student sections help elevate the performance of their football teams and who knows…they might be the difference between winning and losing.

Which brings me to the question of….who has the best student section among the 43 football-playing schools in the Shore Conference? Cast your vote below and we’ll come back with the top five finalists for round two of the voting.

Voting is limited to once per device, per day.  Round 1 ends Sunday, November 13th at midnight.
