Returning boys lacrosse All-Shore selections for the 2023 season
First Team
John McCurry, Sr., Attack, Wall
McCurry led the Shore in assists last season with 51, tied for third in goals with 59, and tied for the conference lead with 110 points as Wall went 17-4, reached the SCT championship game, and reached the South Group 2 state semifinals. He is committed to the United States Naval Academy.
Nick Blalock, Sr. Attack, CBA
Blalock delivered balanced production for the Colts with 43 goals and 35 assists for 78 points, helping CBA win the Class A North division title and reach the SCT semifinals. He is committed to Lafayette College.
James Farinacci, Sr., Attack, Manasquan
Farinacci had a breakout season with 59 goals, tied for the third most in the Shore, plus 29 assists for 88 points to finish sixth in the Shore in scoring. His play helped Manasquan go 16-5, win the Class B South division title, and reach the South Group 2 sectional final. He is committed to Middlebury College.
Cole Cashion, Sr., Midfield, Rumson-Fair Haven
The reigning Shore Conference Player of the Year, Cashion sank 59 goals and added 23 assists to help lead Rumson to the greatest season in program history. The Bulldogs went 22-5, won the Class B North division title, won another Shore Conference Tournament crown, took home its second Group 2 state title, and advanced to the Tournament of Champions final. Cashion is committed to Yale University.
Beau Kemler, Sr., Defense, Rumson-Fair Haven
An anchor in the back end for the Shore's No. 1 team, Kemler helped lead a defense that yielded just 4.5 goals per game and contributed to a historic season in which RFH went 22-54, won the Class B North division title, won the Shore Conference Tournament, won the Group 2 state championships, and advanced to the Tournament of Champions final.
Billy Carr, Sr., Defense, Wall
A 6-foot-4, 220-pound standout who is committed to the University of Denver, Carr was a force for a Wall defense that tied for the fewest goals allowed (82) in the Shore and led the conference in goals against average (3.9)
Matthew Bockelmann, Sr., LSM, Rumson-Fair Haven
A versatile pole who excelled in all situations, Bockelmann helped Rumson go 22-5, win the Class B North division title, win its record eighth Shore Conference Tournament championship, win the Group 2 state title, and advance to the final of the Tournament of Champions. His committed to Brown University

Matt Porazzo, Sr., Attack, Manasquan
Porazzo scored 31 goals and added 29 assists for 60 points as a junior, helping the Warriors go 16-5, win the Class B South division title, and reach the South Group 2 sectional final. He is committed to Monmouth University.
Joey DeYoung, Sr., Midfield, Southern
DeYoung scored 39 goals and added 17 assists for 56 points to help Southern go 16-4, win the Class A South division title, and reach the Group 4 state championship game. He is committed to Hofstra University.
Luke Jamin, Sr., Defense, Rumson-Fair Haven
Committed to the University of Virginia, Jamin is coming off a great junior season in which he helped Rumson's defense allow just 4.5 goals per game. The Bulldogs went 22-5 and won the Class B North division title, the SCT championship, and the Group 2 state title before advancing to the Tournament of Champions final.
Dominick Giglio, Sr., LSM, Wall
A ground ball ace who also excels at causing turnovers, Giglio is an integral part of a Wall defense that led the Shore in goals against average (3.9) last season. The Crimson Knights went 17-4, reached the program's first SCT final, and advanced to the South Group 2 sectional semifinals. Giglio is committed to Monmouth University.
Walker Hunter, Sr., Goalie, Shore
Hunter was tremendous during his junior season, leading the Shore with a 72% save percentage and finishing seventh in total saves with 226. He is committed to Fairfield University.
Michael Hoarle, So., Face-offs, Wall
Hoarle was a revelation for the Crimson Knights during his freshman year and a major reason why Wall had one of the most successful seasons in program history. Hoarle was third in the Shore with a 73% face-off win percentage and one of just 13 players with over 100 ground balls.
