(3) Ewing 62, (6) Donovan Catholic 39

Sophomore Jaycee Lowe led four Ewing players in double figures and the Blue Devils handled the Griffins to advance to the WOBM semifinals on Wednesday. Juniors Mya Grimes and Kiyla Peterson each added 14 points and senior Cayla Sexton had 11 in the win.

Juniors Molly Collins and Alyssa Hirschy each scored nine points on three three-pointers to lead Donovan Catholic.

(7) Toms River North 65, (2) Sayreville 51

Senior Ashley Tutzauer poured in six three-pointers and poured in a game-high 29 points to lead the Mariners past the second-seeded Bombers and into the WOBM semifinals Wednesday against No. 3 Ewing. Tutzauer also went 9-for-10 from the free-throw line and scored 11 points during a 18-8 first-quarter run by Toms River North.

Junior Amanda Johnson also scored 16 points for Toms River North while sophomore Jenna Paul chipped in 10 in the win. Seniors Isi Enahoro and Ryane Brush score 14 points apiece to lead Sayreville.

(5) Point Boro 61, (4) Manchester 54

Senior Ally Lassen and freshman Kate Letergez each scored 16 points and the Panthers outlasted the Hawks in a showdown of Class B South teams. Senior Megan Hughes added 13 points for Point Boro, which will play in Wednesday's WOBM semifinals.

(9) Red Bank 50, (1) Neptune 35

Sophomore Meghan Murray scored 12 of her 16 points in the first half and junior Emma Keegan closed out the game with 10 of her 13 in the fourth quarter as the Bucs stunned the top-seeded Scarlet Fliers to advance to the WOBM semifinals Wednesday against No. 5 Point Boro.

 

Consolation

(11) Toms River East 49, (14) Wall 48

Senior Ciara Byrne buried the winning free throw with 2.2 seconds left and the Raiders edged the Crimson Knights in the consolation round. Freshman Jordyn Madigan scored a team-high 20 points and sophomore Kamryn Lister added 19 to lead Toms River East. Junior Lauren Karabin led Wall with a game-high 22 points.

(10) Brick Memorial 39, (15) Central 30

 

At Toms River North

(13) Freehold Twp. 47, (12) Toms River South 43

Junior Sarah Hughes scored a game-high 20 points to help the Indians clip the Indians in a consolation game. Sophomore Hannah Wagner scored 16 points to lead Toms River South and junior Emily Donzati added 10 in the loss.

(8) Colts Neck 52, (16) Monroe 44

Junior Cara Volpe led a balanced effort with 15 points and the Cougars took down the Falcons. Junior Amy McGee added 10 points and senior Jamie Prestigiacomo chipped in nine for Colts Neck,
