A North Player of the Week
Sammy Jay, Marlboro (So. G 5-5)
The Mustangs pocketed three victories last week to run their win streak to eight. Included in the string of success was a 68-53 verdict over Freehold Twp. in which Jay struck for 21, and a 66-59 triumph against Howell that earned Marlboro the A North title and featured 24 points from its point guard.

Jessica O’ Brien, Howell (Sr. G 5-7)
The seasoned playmaker has scored 12 or more points in each of the last seven games for the Rebels. She posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds as well as four assists during a 62-50 loss to Jackson Memorial, supplied 15 points to a 53-31 win over Freehold and had 18 points, seven steals, six boards and five assists on Thursday when Howell fell to Marlboro, 66-59.

Jordan Hyman, Raritan (Sr. G 5-6)
With the Rockets in need of a win to qualify for the Shore Conference Tournament, Hyman responded with a season-high 17 points in a 50-32 victory over Atlantic Tech that secured a berth. She connected on five 3-pointers.
Wild Cards
Faith Masonius, Manasquan (Sr. G/F 6-1)
Masonius added another career milestone to her resume, clicking for 18 points and 12 rebounds, including the 1,000th of her four-year tenure, as the Warriors downed RBC, 60-39. She registered 31 points and 11 rebounds in a 77-30 showing against Shore and finished with 17 points and 12 boards on Friday when Manasquan suffered a 54-48 loss at Bishop Ahr. She has posted six consecutive double doubles.
Justine Pissott, Red Bank Catholic (Fr. G 6-2)
The sharp-shooting specialist has scored in double figures over seven straight contests. She buried four long-range jumpers to finish with 12 points in a 71-51 win over Xaverian (NY), sank four more on her way to 14 points in a loss to Manasquan and counted three triples among her 18 points on Thursday when the Caseys upended Holmdel, 74-41.
Brynn Farrell, St. Rose (Jr. G 5-11)
Farrell pumped in 23 points to lead the way in a 66-45 victory against Raritan and accounted for 24 points, eight rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist on Saturday as the Roses primed for the Shore Conference Tournament with a 70-66 verdict over Putman Science (Ct.).

A South Player of the Week
Brielle Bisogno, Toms River North (Sr. G 5-7)
Her high-octane, attacking style yielded a season-best 28 points to spark a 61-50 win over Central and she accounted for 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals on Friday when the Mariners topped Jackson Memorial, 54-44, to claim the A South title. On Saturday, she pumped in 18, including the 1000th-point of her career, in a 52-42 loss to South Jersey power Mainland.

Kaela Curtin, Southern (Jr. F)
The rugged junior recorded three double-doubles last week for the Rams. After netting 16 to help Southern outlast Atlantic City, 59-57, in overtime, Curtin went for 12 points and 13 rebounds in a loss to Jackson Memorial, 11 points, 12 boards, four assists and four steals during a 42-25 win over Brick and 10 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday when the Rams absorbed a 32-16 setback to Middle Twp.
Kristina Donza, Jackson Memorial (Jr. G 5-9)
Donza struck for 24 points and five rebounds as the Jags took down Howell, 62-50, chipped in with 10 points, three rebounds and three blocks in a 42-35 victory over Southern and scored 19 of her 28 points before halftime on Friday when Jackson Memorial’s nine-game win streak came to a halt with a 54-44 loss at Toms River North.

Camryn Foltz, Colts Neck (Jr. G 6-0)
Foltz flipped in 17 points – including a pair of 3-pointers – in a 68-30 triumph against Wall, netted 16 as Colts Neck denied Neptune a Shore Conference Tournament bid with a 48-38 road win and sank 10 field goals on Saturday en route to 21 points to fuel a 55-40 showing against Freehold Twp. that ran the Cougars’ win streak to three.

Meghan Murray, Red Bank (Sr. G 5-10)
The blistering guard who works both ends of the court at a feverish rate had 23 points and five steals to drive the Bucs past Matawan, 58-38, ended with 14 points and five steals in a 45-35 loss to Middletown North and provided 20 points, five steals, five rebounds and three assists on Saturday to aid a 55-37 win against Cedar Creek.

Kerry Harper, Henry Hudson (Sr. G)
The playmaking senior was instrumental in the Admirals putting together their first two-game win streak of the season. She had 10 points, seven rebounds and four steals on Thursday in a 20-17 win over Ocean and supported 15 points with five boards and two blocks a day later, lifting Henry Hudson past Asbury Park, 35-33.

Carleigh Burns, Point Beach (Sr. G)
Burns was the offensive catalyst in a pair of wins for the Garnet Gulls. Her 17 points helped the Beach blitz Henry Hudson, 50-18, while her 22 points on Friday sealed a 67-52 decision over Keyport.
Lily Blumenkrantz, Ranney (Jr. G 5-9)
Talk about your hot hands. Blumenkrantz drilled seven 3-pointers and erupted for a career-high 28 points to punctuate a 40-20 victory over Woodbridge Academy. She knocked down three more treys on Friday and accounted for nine points in a 36-15 loss to Mater Dei.

Kemari Reynolds, Manchester (Jr. G 5-8)
Entrusted to orchestrate the Hawks’ multi-faceted offense, Reynolds set the tone for three wins that increased Manchester’s win streak to 13. Her defense yielded seven steals in a 74-16 triumph against Lakewood, her versatility showed through during an 85-26 victory over Jackson Liberty where she had 17 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and five steals and her poise in a big game was evident on Saturday when Reynolds finished with 13 points, six assists, three steals, two boards and a blocked shot as the Hawks downed Ocean City, 57-40.
