Jersey Mikes Team of the Week for Week 7 (1/29 to 2/4) of the Season is Middletown North

Middletown North won three straight games including one against a team ranked in the Shore 16 to be named the Jersey Mikes Girls Basketball Team of the Week for Week 7. They will receive a $150 Gift Card from Jersey Mikes.

The Lions started the week defeating Old Bridge in a non-conference game 49-42. Senior Madison Marcotte scored a team-high 11 points and had a season-high 7 steals in the victory.

Middletown North followed that by beating Neptune, who was ranked No. 14 in the Shore 16 rankings. Junior Jayden Yerves scored a career-high 13 points in the game.

The Lions won their third straight against Marlboro in a cross-divisional game 36-20. Sophomore Danielle Gonzalez scored a game-high 12 points and Marcotte scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the win.
