Toms River East 64, Central 41


Senior guard Adriana Hart clicked for 14 points, junior guard Nicole Platten scored 11 and junior guard Jordyn Madigan chipped in with 10. The Raiders jumped out to a 21-5 lead after one quarter and used a 22-10 surge in the third to build their advantage to 52-29.

Central (4-7, 2-3) got 11 points from Jadelynn Smith while Kristi Truhan, Mercedes Corbin and Martine Chevalier each scored eight.

Senior point guard Brielle Bisogno pumped in 22 points and senior forward Jenna Paul delivered 19 to go with 12 rebounds for the Mariners (10-1, 7-0), who cemented their place atop the A South.

Paul buried a 3-pointer in front of the third-quarter buzzer to give Toms River North a 37-36 edge and freshman guard Sydney Howell opened the fourth with consecutive long-distance jumpers that widened the gap to 43-38. Paul tacked on two more threes as part of an 18-8 tear that staked TRN to a 55-44 lead with just over a minute to play.

Senior forward Dani Evans produced 22 points, 15 rebounds, two steals and a block in a masterful effort for Jackson Memorial (5-5, 4-2), junior swing Kristina Donza pumped in 12 on the strength of four 3-pointers and added seven boards and junior point guard Bianca Giordano picked up five points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals for the Jaguars.

Southern 50, Brick 37

Kaela Curtin registered her third double-double in four games, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Southern (6-6, 4-3).

Sam Del Rio had 12 points and Jacqueline Ward collected 11 points, 10 assists, four rebounds and two steals for the Rams, who seized a 19-8 advantage in the first quarter and took a 29-14 lead into halftime.

Sonja Andersen topped Brick (3-8, 2-5) with nine points.

B Central

Trinity Hall 61, Keansburg 14

The Monarchs (5-5, 3-1) spread the offensive wealth, receiving points from 11 different scorers.

Maggie Ward and Colleen Kelly dropped in nine apiece while Haven Dora ended with eight for Trinity Hall, which established a 31-5 lead by halftime.

Mater Dei 52, Ranney 25

Freshman Shelby Barksdale flipped in 15 points and grabbed eight boards while classmate Madison Lopez scored 10 for the Seraphs (8-3, 6-0).

Mater Dei used the spark of a 14-8 first quarter to establish a 27-16 cushion at the half. Jaylynn Graham supported seven points with six steals.

Brooke Schmelz had a game-high 16 for Ranney (0-6, 0-6).

Point Beach 53, Keyport 42

Carleigh Burns deposited 19 points and McKayla Hughes knocked down two 3-pointers en route to scoring 17 for the Garnet Gulls (9-3, 6-1).

The Beach seized control in the opening quarter, grabbing a 21-11 lead.

Giana Piccini had 16 points and Shannan Devlin 10 for Keyport (6-4, 4-3).

B South

Lacey 48, Lakewood 27

Senior guard Allie Toth erupted for a season-high 22 points as Lacey (7-5, 4-3) halted a two-game losing skid.

Cayli Biele and Hayley Ocskasy each scored six and Karlie Buxton chipped in with five for the victorious Lions.

Junior guard Aysha Diawara led Lakewood (1-11, 0-7) with 14 points.

Pinelands 44, Barnegat 35

The Wildcats (5-7, 3-4) rode a 14-9 third quarter to create a 27-21 gap, keyed by 14 points from Bridget Dudas.

Katie McGrotty and D'Anna Capriotti scored nine apiec for Barnegat. Jada Baker recorded 11 points, 15 rebounds and five steals while Kya Joseph chipped in with 12 points and nine boards.

No. 3 Manchester 73, Jackson Liberty 23

Senior forward Dakota Adams backed up a game-high 18 points with seven rebounds and four steals for the Hawks (11-2, 7-0).

Senior guard Leilani Correa picked up 10 points, three boards and two steals while Myah Hourigan came off the Manchester bench to score 11. The Hawks roared to a 26-2 lead in the first eight minutes.

Kayla Nelson scored eight while Jessica Cannestro and Maura Carney, who had six points, each cleared seven rebounds for Jackson Liberty (8-6, 2-5).

Donovan Catholic 50, Point Boro 30

Junior forward Jayda Kearney paced a balanced showing by the Griffins (10-2, 6-1), who won their eighth straight, with 11 points. Junior guard Paige Slaven netted eight and Olivia Parlow finished with seven.

Donovan Catholic zipped to a 13-5 advantage in the first quarter and used a 15-9 effort in the third to increase the margin to 37-18.

Lila Shaver had 11 points to lead Point Boro (3-8, 3-4).

Non-Divisional

Long Branch 40, Monmouth 24
