JACKSON TWP. - Since 2012, the Jackson Memorial boys soccer team has been a virtual constant in the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinal and after another solid all-around performance on Wednesday against Raritan, the Jaguars are headed back to the round of eight this year.

Joe Schlageter scored on a pass from Ronny Bantang and Drew Greenblatt added another off a feed from Connor Lucas as the third-seeded Jaguars turned away the No. 19 Rockets to advance to the SCT quarterfinals for the fifth time in the last six years.

Nick Kinzler earned his 10th shutout in goal, stopping six Raritan (7-6-3) shots.

Jackson Memorial (15-2-1) will host No. 6 Pinelands, making its first ever SCT quarterfinal appearance, on Friday.

Jackson Memorial has been to the SCT semifinals three times in 13 seasons under current head coach Steve Bado and last reached the SCT final four as the No. 1 seed in 2012. The Jaguars did not reach the championship game in any of those three trips, which they will attempt to do by winning two more games.\
