Anthony Arena scored two goals and two assists and the Hornets (15-1) scored all five of their goals before halftime to blow past the Rebels (10-6-1) and into the SCT semifinals Monday against Jackson Memorial at Ocean Township High School.

Matt Leon also scored two of Holmdel's first three goals and Mark McStay capped the scoring with a goal 15 seconds before halftime on a lead pass from Arena.

Leon's first goal came in the 12th minute off a rebound on an initial shot from Arena and his second was off a chipped ball from Cyrus Darvish to make it 3-0 in the 27th minute.

Arena drew a foul in the box and converted the penalty kick to make it 2-0 in the 18th and blasted a near post shot from 10 yards out off a pass from Nick Guga to make it 4-0 in the 36th.

(3) Jackson Memorial 4, (6) Pinelands 0

Four different Jackson Memorial players scored a goal and the Jaguars (16-2-1) rolled through the Wildcats (15-2-1) and into the SCT semifinals. Jackson Memorial will play Holmdel in the first game of the double-header Monday at Ocean - a rematch of the 2012 semifinal won by Holmdel.

Drew Greenblatt and Joe Schlageter each recorded a goal and an assist for Jackson Memorial, with Greenblatt scoring in the ninth minute to open the scoring and Schlageter adding a third Jackson Memorial goal in the 47th minute to give the Jaguars separation.

Ben Schnaak scored the second Jackson Memorial goal off a corner kick in the 37th minute to stretch the lead to 2-0 before halftime. Dan Russo capped the scoring in the final five minutes to start the celebration.

Nick Kinzler saved five shots to earn his 11th shutout of the season.

(5) Ocean 4, (20) Monmouth 3

Santieno Harding scored his second goal of the game on a header in the 73rd minute to cap a wild sequence and give the Spartans (15-2-1) a hectic, 4-3 win over the Falcons (11-8) in the third meeting between the Class B North rivals. Ocean has not lost in its last 13 matches, going 12-0-1.

Ocean led on three different occasions in the second half and Monmouth answered two of them within two minutes to set up Harding's winning goal. Luke Yates scored off a Zach Sintic free kick in the 55th minute to give Ocean a 2-1 lead before Hoover Cano tied it at 2-2 in the 57th.

Steve Carton delivered the next tie-breaking goal, nailing a 30-yard strike that banged off the bottom of the crossbar and in for a 3-2 Ocean lead in the 70th minute.Just 1:09 later, however, Joel Burgos scored his second goal of the game by one-timing a free kick by Brian Waltsak into the goal.

Ocean's winning goal came two minutes after Burgos's equalizer and started with a throw-in by Yates. The ball made its way to the far post and Elias Brandimarte headed it over Monmouth goalkeeper Dominick Santaniello to the front of the goal. Mark Mauro kept it alive with his head and Harding elevated to head the ball in uncontested. Harding's second goal capped a stretch of three goals in just over six minutes of game clock.

Burgos and Harding traded goals in the first half to send the game to halftime tied, 1-1. In the first meeting between the two teams in September, Harding outdueled Burgos by a 3-2 count in goals - part of a 4-2 Ocean win. Burgos did not play in a 2-0 Ocean win at Monmouth two weeks ago and also missed Monmouth's 1-0 win over Freehold Township due to a thigh bruise.

Ocean will play the winner of Saturday's game between No. 1 CBA and No. 8 Toms River South in the semifinals on Monday at Ocean Township, which was the predetermined neutral site for the tournament.
