CLASS A NORTH
No. 2 CBA 18, Middletown North 0
Junior attackman Connor Macrae scored six goals and Chris Downey made five saves as the Colts (7-0, 3-0) shut out the Lions (4-4, 1-2).
Michael Carroll added two goals and one assist, Chris Romano and Hunter Connelan also scored twice and Robbie Hermansen had a goal and four assists. Luke Valentino, Kyle Aldridge, Thomas Convery, Connor Ruckert and Jared Lucich each scored once.
No. 3 Freehold Township 18, Marlboro 1
Senior attackman Chris Novella had a huge game with six goals and five assists while sophomore attackman Brendan Doel totaled three goals and five assists to fuel the unbeaten Patriots (6-0, 3-0) in their victory over the Mustangs (0-7, 0-5).
Matt Graybush added two goals and one assist, Kyle VonNessen had a goal and an assist and Jake Liebross, Tyler Sanburn, Nick Reardon, T.J. Illulzi and Brian Schirripa each scored their first career goal. Billy Patten made four saves in goal.
Middletown South 15, Neptune 1
Connor Ard scored four goals and Matt Tardy, Carter Lenhard and Phil Tracy each scored twice to pace the Eagles (7-2, 2-1) in their victory over the Scarlet Fliers (2-5, 0-4).
Matt Ferrigno had a goal and two assists and Jason Allen, Liam Blancher, Aidan Kane and Dan Rossi each scored once.
CLASS A SOUTH
Toms River East 10, Toms River North 6
Evan Otten and Salvatore Esposito each scored three times and Tyler Budrow made 12 saves as the Raiders (3-2, 1-1) sank the rival Mariners (3-2, 1-1).
Alex Smith had two goals and one assist and Matt Gannon also scored twice for Toms River East. Koehler Wagner had two assists and Anthony Marinelli picked up a team-high eight ground balls.
Brick 8, Toms River South 7
Freshman Billy Burdge scored the game-winning goal with 1.4 seconds left in regulation to complete the hat trick and send the Dragons (4-2, 1-0) to a dramatic win over the Indians (2-4, 0-3).
James Rea and Christian Schlaefer each scored twice, Nick D'Eufemia had a goal and an assist and Richie Cosgrove dished out four assists. Billy Kleissler played clutch in goal with 12 saves.
Andrew Xiques had three goals and one assist and Declan Mullin had a goal and three assists to lead Toms River South. Jared Holmes and Corey Snyder each scored once and Sam Brown scored his first career goal.
CLASS B NORTH
No. 6 Rumson-Fair Haven 14, No. 10 Shore 9
Rowan Goldin, Kurt Bruckman and Kiel Forlenza struck for three goals apiece and Peter Lucas scored twice to lead the Bulldogs (4-5, 4-0) past the rival Blue Devils (6-2, 2-1). Sean Bunnell made six saves in goal to earn the win.
Gil Goldsmith, Jake Turner and Tom Bocco each scored twice for Shore.
Red Bank Catholic 10, No. 9 Ocean 7
Jack Zenkert and Ryan Schellin scored three goals each as the Caseys (4-5, 2-2) knocked off the ninth-ranked Spartans (5-3, 2-2).
Pat Brady added two goals and two assists, Kyle Boggio and Dom DiPiero scored once and Colin Marshall made nine saves. Luke Gueci collected a team-high seven ground balls.
Holmdel 8, St. John Vianney 7
Senior attackman Justin Arredondo stayed hot with four goals and one assist and Jake Preziose scored twice as the Hornets (6-3, 1-1) scored seven times in the second half, including four times in the fourth quarter, to surge past the Lancers (3-4, 1-2).
Dan Bunting and Joe Hazel each scored once and Justin Cohen had three assists. Nick Tuccillo made six saves and Dan Tempone went 10-for-15 on face-offs.
Anthony Brett had a hat trick and one assist and C.J. Hanson made 15 saves to lead St. John Vianney. Andrew Gosse scored twice, Nick Peckyno had a goal and two assists and James Guilbert scored once.
Red Bank 16, Long Branch 0
Tor Haugenes scored five goals and added two assists and Seamus Cochrane had three goals and three assists as the Bucs (3-6, 1-2) cruised to a victory over the Green Wave (1-9, 0-3).
CLASS B SOUTH
No. 1 Manasquan 18, No. 5 Wall 8
Junior attackman Canyon Birch scored eight times and added one assist to reach 200 career goals and lead the Warriors (7-0, 3-0) to a key divisional victory over the rival Crimson Knights (6-2, 2-1). Birch now has a state-leading 46 goals this season.
Ryan Anderson added four goals and one assist, James Pendergist scored twice, Casey Mulligan had one goal and one assist and Mike Farinacci, James McElduff and Casey Campbell had one goal apiece. Riley Callahan had a pair of assists. Mike LaPoint made four saves to pick up the win.
Connor Prindiville led Wall with four goals while Mike McIntyre scored twice and Tim O'Hern and Kyle Peters each scored once. Sean DeMott had a great game in goal with 12 saves, including nine in the first half. Ryan Kellett won 14 of 26 face-offs.
Lacey 17, Donovan Catholic 5
Junior attackman Dominic Waltonowski tallied three goals and six assists and junior midfielder Ryan Giles scored four times as the Lions (4-2, 3-1) ran past the Griffins (1-5, 0-1).
Dylan Vitale added two goals and five assists and Chris Augustine had a hat trick and one assist. JoeCarlo Chimenti also had a hat trick while Brett Spafford scored twice. Senior goalie Justin Covey made eight saves and also picked up an assist.
Trevor Barber scored twice and Andrew Schlendorf had a goal and an assist to lead Donovan Catholic. Peter Rao made nine saves.
St. Rose 16, Barnegat 3
Shane Reilly had a 10-point game with five goals and five assists to power the Purple Roses (2-6, 1-2) past the Bengals (0-6, 0-3).
Mike Kinsel also had a big game for St. Rose with two goals and four assists while going 14-for-15 on face-offs. P.J. Keegan added a hat trick, Spencer Flynn had two goals and one assist and Nolan Boehmcke had a goal and two assists. Brendan Perry made six saves.
Dylan Corbett scored twice and Matthew Hoops made six saves for Barnegat.
St. Rose outshot Barnegat 22-9 and led 13-1 at halftime.
Jackson Liberty 6, Point Boro 5
Max Matthies scored twice and Nick Labianca, Tom Ferullo, Brendan Sheerin and Jake Bosco each scored once to lead the Lions (3-5, 2-1) to a one-goal victory over the Panthers (3-6, 0-2).
Tanner Gordon led Point Boro with four goals while Liam Connelly had a goal and an assist, Cormac McCabe had two assists and Parker Roncin made 13 saves.
