Orthopaedic Institute 119, RKE Athletic 117

Monmouth University junior-to-be George Papas scored 30 points and hit two key shots in the final 1:12 to lift Orthopaedic to a win over RKE.

Papas hit a floater with 1:12 left to give Orthopaedic a 116-115 lead and spotted up for a corner three-pointer on his team's next possession to stretch the lead to 119-115.

RKE drew within one score and earned a sideline inbound play with 1.3 seconds left but could not convert.

Shack Scott scored 14 of his 22 points in the first half and grabbed nine rebounds and Manchester graduate Kashaun Barnes added 20 points while also scoring 14 in the first half. Ramon Sanders chipped in 19 points, Joe Cooper netted 18 and A.J. Sumbry posted 10 points and 11 rebounds for Orthopaedic.

Tarin Smith matched Papas with 30 points to lead RKE, while two of Papas's Monmouth teammates - Mustafa Traore and Ray Salnave - each notched a double-double. Traore finished with 28 points and 15 rebounds while Salnave put up 24 points, 11 boards and six assists in the loss.

Stern's Trailers 135, Larson Ford 118

Shavar Reynolds recorded a triple-double with a game-high 35 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists as Stern's pulled away over the final five minutes to put away Larson Ford.

Jerome Hubbard connected on eight three-pointers and finished with 29 points, 11 rebounds and four assists to back up Reynolds. Zac Tillman added 22 points, Rob Ukawoba posted 21 points, six rebounds and seven assists, and Micah Seaborn put up 18 points, six boards and six assists in the win.

Kahlid McDonald led Larson with 30 points, including seven threes. Jaimik Moore added 23 points and seven rebounds, while Isaiah Morton had 23 points and seven assists in the loss.
