RKE Athletic 134, Orthopaedic Institute 115

Ray Salnave scored a game-high 44 points and was one of three players on his team to flirt with a triple-double as RKE (4-6) rolled over Orthopaedic (6-4) to cap their regular season. Salnave also had eight rebounds and seven assists.

Jason Dunne added 25 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists in the win while teammate Elijah Mitchell came up one rebound shy of a triple-double, finishing with 12 points, nine rebounds and 13 assists.

Dunne's younger brother, Mike - who is also a graduate of Matawan and a rising sophomore at Hartford - pitched in 24 points and seven rebounds while Raheem Carter put up 14 points and 11 rebounds for RKE.

Brookdale guard and Monmouth Regional alum Tyler Hawkins led Orthopaedic with 31 points. Monmouth swing George Papas added 30 and former Monmouth and CBA guard Louie Pillari poured in 25 points while handing out six assists in the loss.

 

Larson Ford 126, Sea View Jeep 119

Isaiah Morton scored 32 points to go with nine assists and Sam Toney fell one assist shy of a triple-double as Larson Ford denied Sea View a first-round bye in the first-round of the JSBL Playoffs. Toney finished with 28 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists.

Amir Maddred also pitched in 23 points and 15 rebounds while Yuri Brutus added 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ramon Johnson threw in 15 points and eight boards in the win.

Roy Mabrey led Sea View with a game-high 42 points and Damian Garrett added 32 points and nine rebounds. Maurice Hart also chipped in 22 points and eight assists in the loss.
