The 2022 Shore Conference Tournament was seeded on Wednesday night with defending Rumson-Fair Haven earning the No. 1 seed.

The reigning and seven-time SCT champion Bulldogs are the No. 1 team in the Shore Sports Network Top 10 and ranked No. 3 in the latest NJ.com state Top 20. Rumson's seven conference titles are the most in Shore Conference history.

Second-ranked Manasquan earned the No. 2 seed with Wall coming in as the No. 3 seed. Manasquan, which won three straight SCT titles from 2017-2019, defeated Wall 9-6 during their regular-season meeting.

Christian Brothers Academy is ranked No. 6 in the SSN Top 10 but earned the No. 4 seed based on its LaxNumbers rating. The Colts have played a strong non-conference schedule, including three games vs. nationally-ranked teams. They cemented their top-four seed by defeating No. 7 Howell on Tuesday in the Class A North title game.

A total of 18 teams automatically qualified for the SCT via having a .500 record or better.

The seeding committee went strictly by the LaxNumbers Shore Conference ratings to seed the tournament. Teams were able to jump the team in front of them based on a head-to-head win, as was the case with Howell and Holmdel.
