Every week this season, Shore Conference lacrosse fans will have their chance to vote for the Shore Sports Network Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week on our website, with over 10,000 votes cast during the first poll of the season.

The Player of the Week winner for the voting period (March 29-April 8) is Holmdel senior Jack Cook, who picked up where he ended last season by dominating the face-off circle to help the Hornets secure a spot in the Shore Sports Network Top 10.

Cook, who is committed to Mount St. Mary's and was a Shore Sports Network First-Team All-Shore selection last spring, won 86 percent of draws and picked up 60 ground balls through the team's first five games. He also dished out four assists.

Cook secured 44.11 percent of the vote to beat out Ocean's Sam Hanna, St. John Vianney's Ryan Gilfillan and Southern's Kyle Mulrane.
