Downtown Spring Lake will host a Summer Sidewalk Sale this weekend and it will be a good opportunity to check out the sports “shrine” on exhibit at one local business. Trinity Financial Sports & Entertainment Management Company, LLC a division of Peter Grandich and Company moved its offices to 219 Morris Avenue this spring. That was the fulfillment of a 30-year dream for Peter Grandich, a former Wall Street “Whiz Kid” and lifelong sports fan. His office is unlike any other in the financial business, looking more like a sports memorabilia store or Hall of Fame.

Through his relationships with many former pro athletes and his strong ties to charitable causes Grandich has acquired a significant amount of autographed items and they will be on display this weekend. The office storefront will be open from noon to 5pm both Saturday and Sunday and free autographed pictures of ex-Jets, Giants, Rangers, Devils and Flyers will be given away (while they last). In addition there will be drawings for 16 x 20 autographed photos of Eli Manning, Martin Brodeur, Mookie Wilson/Bill Buckner and the US Women’s World Cup winning soccer team.

As he does on a regular basis Grandich will be selling sports memorabilia with 100% of the proceeds going to the Common Ground Grief Center and he will personally match that donation with a cash one of his own.
