MANASQUAN, NJ- The difference of less than a second has rattled the sports nation. Between national news sources, Barstool Sports, SportscenterNEXT and countless others, the events that unfolded during the Manasquan versus Camden boys basketball game has opened a lot of eyes.

Manasquan Story and Updates Here

Local resident and business owner Joe Leone Introna is an ambassador of a national organization called OneStrong F.A.M.I.L.Y. This organization was established in 1999 and has been encouraging people to live a life of selfless, unconditional love. Even with a national presence, they have local Jersey Shore ties.

Joe happened to be at the Manasquan game and he witnessed the events. The next day Joe was on the phone with Michael Manhardt, the Founder of One Strong F.A.M.I.L.Y where he expressed how inspiring it was to witness such selfless and classy behavior by the team from the coaches and players after the decision was overturned.

“Seeing the response from Coach Bilodeau ‘referring to not wanting Camden’s season to be tarnished’ further moved me in how he addressed the controversy, and was very selfless as he spoke about the other the players - not just his team” Joe told Shore Sports Network.

“As a result of this experience, our organization would like to offer any of our services to the Manasquan basketball program. I personally feel that our trademarked mantra, F.A.M.I.L.Y. - Forget About Me I Love You - would resonate loudly and compliment Coach Bilodeau’s character and the example set by the student athletes” Joe continued.

OneStrong F.A.M.I.L.Y has strong roots in The Shore Conference. Teams like Pinelands, Point Beach, Saint John Vianney and Wall even go so far as to represent F.A.M.I.L.Y on their football jerseys.

In times of trials and tribulations, true character reveals itself, which is the exact reason why OneStrong F.A.M.I.L.Y would like to support the Manasquan basketball program.

“Lastly, congratulations on their win and most of all congratulations on the selfless example they set for our community” Joe said.
