The Monmouth University Hawks begin the 2014 season on Saturday with their first Big South game ever in a game at Kessler Field at Monmouth Stadium starting at 1:00 p.m.

New Challenges, New Conference for MU This Year
Coming out of the bye week we wanted to keep the momentum going that we gained from our Homecoming win against Cornell. We had another great challenge last Saturday playing against Sacred Heart University. The game didn't go the way we had hoped and we came up short losing in a close battle, 24-21.
Back On Track Against Cornell
Getting things back on track was the main focus when we took on Cornell University this past Saturday.

Brandon Hill threw for 308 yards and four touchdowns and Kwabena Asante rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns as the Monmouth University football team defeated Cornell, 48-23, on Homecoming Saturday afternoon on Kessler Field at Monmouth Stadium. With the win, the Hawks improve to 4-4, while the Big Red falls to 1-4.
