Wrestling Power Point Rankings Through Jan. 17
The NJSIAA has released its updated power point rankings based on results received on matches wrestled through Jan. 17.
The top six teams in each section qualify for the NJSIAA Team Tournament, which begins with the sectional quarterfinals on Monday Feb. 8. There are currently 22 Shore Conference teams that are ranked in the top six in their respective sections.
Teams ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 in their sections are: Middletown North in North 2 Group IV, Shore in Central Jersey Group I, Raritan and Point Boro in Central Jersey Group II, Jackson Memorial and Long Branch in Central Jersey Group IV, Howell in Central Jersey Group V, Wall in South Jersey Group III, Southern in South Jersey Group V and Christian Brothers Academy in South Jersey Non-Public A.
