Sectional Finals

Central Jersey Group IV

The Jaguars erased a 15-point deficit with consecutive pins by Brody Graham (Hwt), Matt McGowan (106), Mike Spino (113) and Fred Terranova (120) to win their seventh sectional title in program history and first since 2011.

After falling behind 10-0, Brick rattled off six straight wins from 160 through 220 pounds on a technical fall by Will Scott, a pin by Kyle Wojtaszek, decisions from Dean Helstowski and Dean Sherry and a technical by Ray Fattaruso.

Wojtaszek's win was the 114th of his career to put him on top of the Dragons' all-time wins list.

Jackson will next face off with South Jersey Group IV champion Clearview, which defeated Toms River South 35-30 in the final. The winner will move on to face the winner of Phillipsburg versus Roxbury. The Group IV semifinals are at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at Sun National Bank Arena in Trenton. The Group IV championship match is at 6 p.m.

Central Jersey Group II

The Rockets fell just short of their third sectional title in another tight battle on the road with the Terriers. Delaware Valley clinched the match when Connor Mills did not give up bonus points to Dylan Seidenberg at 138 pounds in the second-to-last bout. That put DelVal up by seven and allowed the Terriers to absorb Mike Chadwick's pin at 145 in the final bout.
