Boys Third-Place Game

(6) St. John Vianney 68, (5) Manchester 64

Senior Omar Calderon poured in a team-high 24 points and the Lancers (6-1) outlasted the Hawks (3-2) to take third place in the WOBM Christmas Classic.

Senior Nate Williams added 18 points and sophomore Dylan Seay chipped in 10 for St. John Vianney.

Senior Savon Myers led Manchester with a game-high 28 points. Senior D'Maari Brown added 13 and junior Evan Weiner chipped in 10 in the loss.

Girls Third-Place Game

(3) Donovan Catholic 89, (4) Rumson-Fair Haven 65

Junior Gabriela Ross went off for 34 points and the Griffins (4-2) blew the game open with 27-14 third-quarter run to rout the Bulldogs (1-3) and take home third place in the WOBM Christmas Classic.

Senior Olivia Conroy also poured in 24 points and classmate Kya Joseph racked up 17 for Donovan Catholic.

Junior Julia Corsentino led Rumson with 18 points, while freshman Sylvie Nitone added 11 and senior Grace Colucci dropped 10 in the loss.

Girls Championship

(1) Red Bank Catholic 55, (2) Manasquan 36

Senior Justine Pissott and freshman Tessa Carman each scored 11 points and the Caseys (5-1) pulled away to beat the Warriors (5-1) and win the WOBM Christmas Classic for the first time in the program's decorated history.

Pissott was named Tournament MVP, while junior Emma Carman pitched in nine points for Red Bank Catholic, which outscored Manasquan, 22-8, in the fourth quarter after Manasquan cut its deficit to five points heading into the final eight minutes.

Sophomore Hope Masonius and senior Mary Elizabeth Donnelly each scored 13 points to lead Manasquan.

Boys Championship

(1) Marlboro 61, (2) Red Bank Catholic 58

Senior Jon Spatola scored a game-high 20 points and the Mustangs (6-0) won a showdown for No. 1 in the Shore Sports Network Top 10 over the Caseys (5-1) to affirm their top spot and claim their first ever WOBM Christmas Classic title.

Senior Zach Molod scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half to keep Marlboro within striking distance and senior Jack Seidler scored 10 of his 16 points in the third quarter, during which Marlboro swung a 30-28 halftime deficit into a 47-44 advantage heading into the final quarter.

Senior Cyril Arvanitis and sophomore Zach Meeks each scored 14 points to lead Red Bank Catholic and senior C.J. Ruoff chipped in 13 in defeat. Arvanitis buried three of his four three-pointers in the second quarter to help send RBC to the halftime locker room with the lead.
