Colts Neck 70, Keyport 55

Junior Will Surdez scored 18 of his game-high 26 points in the first half and the Cougars rolled to a win over the Red Raiders on an afternoon in which they celebrated the career of head coach Lou Piccola who is returning at the end of the season.

Junior Tyler Spencer added 13 points and senior Henry Shell added 10 for Colts Neck.

Senior D.J. Thomson led Keyport with 19 points and senior George Mitchell added 10 in the loss.

Red Bank 54, Lacey 42

Freehold Twp. 62, Sinai Christian 52

Junior Jayden Holmes-Cotter scored 25 points and pulled in 11 rebounds to pace the Patriots to a win over Sinai Christian.

Senior Ryan Keegan added 14 points while junior Malachi Harris pitched in nine points and six assists for Freehold Township.

 

Friday, Feb. 18

Non-Division

Point Boro 52, Southern 41

Junior Stephen Mellet scored 20 points and classmate Shane Ryan added 12 to lead the Panthers to a win over the Rams.

Nick Devane poured in 16 points and fellow senior Jaden Anthony contributed 13 to lead Southern.

Ocean 56, Lacey 43

Junior Brandon Loughlin scored 19 points and pulled in 10 rebounds as the Spartans scored a win over the Lions.

Freshman Zayier Dean chipped in 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Ocean.

Sophomore Logan Brash led Lacey with 13 points, while juniors Troy Buxton and Chris Venturoso chipped in 12 and 11, respectively, for the Lions.

Toms River South 54, Wall 32

Senior Gavin Migliori posted 15 points, six rebounds and six steals and the Indians stormed past the Crimson Knights.

Junior Maziah Brown-Height chipped in 13 points for Toms River South.

Junior Colin MacDermant led Wall with 11 points.

Jackson Liberty 69, Point Beach 51

Seniors Phanique Dupree and Channing Williams each scored 14 points and the Lions topped the Garnet Gulls.

Freshman Jayson King added 13 points for Jackson Liberty, while senior Anthony Longo led Point Beach with a game-high 19 points.

Toms River East 47, Pinelands 40

Junior Jacob Mathus and sophomore Jason McKelvey each scored 11 points to lead the Raiders to a win over the Wildcats on Senior Day.

Junior Dylan Russelll added nine points and eight rebounds for Toms River East.

Senior Darren Barraeu scored 12 points and classmate Daniel McCarthy added 10 to lead Pinelands.

Middletown South 66, Neptune 48

Junior Dylan Csik led four Middletown South players in double-figures with 16 points and the Eagles barreled through the Scarlet Fliers.

Junior Pat Brown added 15 points, senior Tom Schork chipped in 11 and senior Jack Himmelberg poured in 10 for Middletown South.
