Tierney Takes On A Big Challenge in Tuckerton
Many have tried and many have failed when it comes to bringing a winning football program to Pinelands Regional. The Wildcats last winning season was 2004 and since then they have had three winless seasons and three in which they won only one game. JOHN TIERNEY, who was the head freshman coach last season is now in charge of the Wildcats fortunes as he replaces Matt Fuller who stepped down after five seasons. Tierney was a longtime assistant at Lacey and during his playing days was an all-shore offensive lineman at Mater Dei who then played at Towson University in Maryland.
Pinelands is coming off a 4-5 season and does return a host of starters so there are reasons to be optimistic.
