After a shaky start to the game, Ocean finished with a fury that delivered the Spartans their first NJSIAA Group championship in 22 years and completed a four-title season.

Leo Montesinos broke through with a goal just before halftime and Ocean rolled past Seneca to earn a spot in an NJSIAA Group III final for the first time in 22 years.

With two stunning results in the final two games of the Shore Conference Tournament, Ocean won its fifth ever SCT title, as well as the Week 5 Team of the Week award.

In his first and only season with Ocean, Leonardo Montesinos cemented his place in program history by scoring the golden goal Wednesday to beat CBA and secure the Spartans a fifth SCT championship.

After giving away a two-goal edge, No. 2 CBA quickly regained the lead and held on to beat No. 4 Ocean in a match-up of two of the Shore's storied programs.
