Senior Ammar Danish scored two goals and the Colonials (1-0) blanked the Bengals (1-1) to pick up three points in the first ever Shore Conference Tournament group-play game, as well as their season-opener.

Junior Mike Faller opened the scoring in the 13th minute and senior goalkeeper Angel Tlacoxolal turned in his first clean sheet of the season.
