A group of New Jersey ICU doctors and nurses got a pleasant surprise the other day. Shaquille O'Neal shocked an entire ICU unit when he Facetimed in to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication.  This was the last thing the healthcare workers at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville, NJ were expecting.

This was all set up by a patient care technician named  Brianna Vasquez. She was the one who slid into Shaq's Instagram DMs and told him how much it would mean to her and her co-workers if he were to facetime in and uplift their spirits. Apparently her entire "ICU family" are HUGE Shaquille O'Neal fans, and they have always loved him for the kind loving heart he has. So, of course, Shaq said yes!

Shaq said in the video. "I just want to say I appreciate all you guys and keep up the good work and please keep being safe. I know you guys don't get a lot of appreciation but I appreciate everything you guys do. You guys have a great night and keep saving lives."The video was so amazing. All of the doctors, nurses, and staff members loved every minute of the facetime call. According to TMZ, in the end, Vasquez thanked Shaq for the call by saying, "Because of you, there was happiness, smiles, and tears of joy throughout the unit. Thank you for being you."
